I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I did making it This track was inspired by an email the label Subcarbon sent me to keep up with my dreams and that my music was sounding good. They wanted me to send more tunes and unfortunately, this one didn’t make the cut. The song was inspired also by a story I envisioned of a girl whose old self was murdered, only for that girl to be resurrected and blossomed into the best version of herself, hence the track title “She Was”. Many of us battle with depression and anxiety and sometimes it’s a silent battle. I created this tune to let people know they can come out on the other side and that there is light at the end of the tunnel.👻
