At the young age of 16, Blakethechemist developed Acid On Deck as a mix of original songs and remixes made in the summer of 2018, inspired by acid house, jazz and funk jams, disco records and sci-fi video game soundtracks. 
The mix initially fell apart after the summer ended but made way for his future mixes and projects including the songs on the 2018 Hallowacid mix, as well as the all-original Further Confusion 2019 and 2020 set lists. 
With the 2025 resurgence of disco and Y2K music, this album promotes a switch from Blake’s previous style of hyper-techno and psytrance to an electrifying rebirth of his more mainstream-friendly house and funk side. 

This album full of funky acid sequences, jazzy chord progressions, hypnotic guitar licks, punchy drum grooves and intergalactic synth solos persists in ground-up revisions of the 2018 classics such as Acid On Deck, Razziant and Lazerlight, experimental gems such as Crowmatica, Boxed Eggs, and The Vortex, as well as the brand new, vocal-driven ear-worms sung by Blake himself, including Ungoon The Gooner, Ride Or Die, and Get Yo Groove Back. This album includes fifteen tracks for over 50 minutes of energy-driven scientific nostalgia, but rebuilt for the brain-rot era with the intention of reversing the brain-rot and getting you dancing outside again.
