We've been admirers of Jimpster from afar for many a year. He's spent a solid two decades remixing and DJing, playing in the sadly now defunct The Bays, run his very own Freerange Records for 15 of those, as well as the offshoot, yet equally as interesting Delusions of Grandeur on the side. He's probably not someone who gets to spend an awful lot of time putting his feet up with a nice brew but his hard work certainly pays off as there's a mighty fine selection of records with his name attached to them in some form or another. In one of his brief, quieter moments we manged to cajole Jimpster into putting together a nice juicy Ransom Note mix for you to slip into as if it were a warm bath, filled to the brim with scented bubbles.

Ten Ven is a somewhat unknown entity. Shrouded in a cloak of mystery Ten Ven burst onto the house scene via MTA records with '1Bad Bitch' receiving plays from DJ's the world over including Annie Mac & Pete Tong on their respective radio 1 shows.

Some highly placed remixes followed with Ten Ven lending dancefloor flavour to Lana Del Rey & Klang Karussell among others.

Next was an EP on the well respected NoirMusic. This was was heavily supported by some leaders of the techno and house scenes including Steve Bug, Manuel De La Mare, B Traits, Redondo and obviously Noir himself.

The rest of 2015 sees Ten Ven serve up a packed release schedule with EP's on NoirMusic, 303 Lovers, a compilation release on Eton Messy and remixes for Aeroplane and Onur Ozman.

With a stacked year almost behind him, we are proud to present an exclusive Ten Ven mixtape in our weekly series. The 60 minutes of dancefloor pounding house features a slew of Ten Ven originals and remixes, alongside tracks from the likes of Andhim and Paul Kalkbrenner.
