This month before the new year we learn to focus on personal responsibility, we need to make the first move. We need to embody the change. The Baal Shem Tov taught that the flaws we see in other people are just a reflection for our own souls. When we move with grace and accept that the only person that can change is me, we are ready to be in a relationship w/ Gd. This is the month where the king is in the field, whereas the rest of the year in the palace. Gd is so close always but especially now we can access that energy and infinite light of blessing.
