Blame Their Fathers- god DAMMIT WHY MUST YOU FOIL MY PLANS?

I kinda wanted to write my own shovel knight OST for fun but I'm so new to music production that it's almost looming over me how much experience and knowledge other producers have over me. I keep tabs on producers i want to learn from but it's odd trying to work things out with no real guide on the process on how they do things.
Then again, I feel like copying them entirely would ruin my own independence and not let me feel like I've come up with the ideas itself. Might be overthinking it?

I'm terrible at mastering my sounds but I enjoy just goofing off with random things and seeing how badly they come out.

This was the most fun by far the worst thing I've ever made.

Wanted to work on something that highlighted both Holy Roman Aesthetics and modern Chiptune Aesthetics and this is what I've started with so far. I've been using battle/fighting music as my go-to for a while-- I really enjoy the explosive nature of it-- but starting something off with slow, powerful ascensions of chord and vocals hits differently.
This is just an idea of what I want to work with, not a full song or such-- I just really love what I'm starting with and will probably change it so often I've lost all trace of the source material

Hello! I'm a new music producer that just enjoys this as a hobby. I like to see what I can do to do better, and enjoy watching streams of people who seem to understand the material a bit better than I do. 
I mostly play with chiptune, but I'm not that great at mastering levels and such, so I'm on the lookout for someone with some experience so I can shadow them for a bit-- This whole thing is kept together by duct tape.
