Laura Coch is an uncompromising harmony stimulus, offering a contemporary view of the magnificent, mesmerizing, and seductive balance that emerges from the combination of analogic sounds and drum machines to reinvigorate the unchanging dynamics of the musical underground.

Since its inception, she has contributed to the resurgence of electro on dance floors throughout Mexico with an irreverently creative spirit, her synthesized melodies of futuristic sound, and a visual aesthetic rooted in the minimalism of the 2000s. By merging club sounds of the most delirious and compelling styles with a subtly fervent elegance and a recklessly faithful fervor for synergy, her work as a DJ translates into a frenzy that triggers immersive atmospheres in unrestrained euphoria and rhythmically percussive patterns charged with energy.

Currently based in Mexico City, after an extended stay in Tijuana, holding a residency at the legendary Club Wherehouse, the frenetic pace of her surroundings, amidst the international success of the Mexican scene and an attractive sound curation of local parties, has allowed Laura the space to explore the spirit of her creativity on the fringes of Acid, EBM, Breakbeat, and Techno, whether through emblematic parties like Dance Your Name, Modern Speech, and UFO Camp, in renowned clubs like Radio Bar, Fünk Club, and Japan, or on platforms like Radio 28, Mutant Radio, and Por Detroit, successfully consolidating her session for Discos Sentimiento as the most viewed video on the Salas Roma YouTube channel.

Laura boldly led an advance of contemporary electro that has openly and explicitly rebelled against conventions with the curation of a series of broadcasts and mixtapes from Whereabouts (@whereaboutsmx), a record label she co-founded in San Diego, California, which simultaneously functioned as a radio program and encouraged her to establish her most recent and ambitious project "Global Harmony Traxx" (@globalharmonytraxx), a label she is curating to fiercely extend her musical approach worldwide alongside those who produce some of the most daring themes of her sets and enthusiasts with similar ideas, a purpose that was materialized through her debut track "I Feel It" with The Egyptian Lover released in 2023.

Today we bring you a journey through musical genres with a very challenging versatile artist with a pretty extensive track record of releases and co-owner and 1/3 of the Science Cult label.

Stefan started DJing at the tender age of 17 playing a variety of early Techno and Dub Techno from labels such as Prime, Basic Channel, Planet Rhythm, H-Productions and more. 2 years later began experimenting with production, but having only limited tools, he made do with what he had: a demo copy of Propellerhead’s Rebirth RB-338 and the worst Macintosh ever made, a Performa 6300. Nevertheless, he kept writing and recording music using a book to keep track of song settings before the 30 minute Rebirth demo period ran out. His friends eventually all pitched in enough money to purchase him a full version of Rebirth as a gift. He remembers this time as “writing the most amount of terrible tracks ever”, but it was also how he learned to program drums and synths, put together a track and refine his process. Over time and many odd jobs later, Stefan managed to save up enough money to purchase a better computer and a few pieces of gear.

At this time, Stefan began performing live at various Dallas venues and co-ran a local artist collective known as “AI Collective”. Being surrounded by highly experienced and talented producers, he learned to hone his production skills as well as find what would become his own sound.

Over the next 7 years he experimented with various genres until he stumbled across the cinematic breakbeat sound of UK band Hybrid. During the short-lived “Progressive Breaks” era, his most notable contributions included a bootleg remix of Gary Jules’ “Mad World” cover and eventually a remix for Hybrid themselves that he and Starfire worked on together. In 2010 Stefan bid farewell to the aging progressive sound to return to his original passion: Techno. Stefan cites as his biggest influences Aphex Twin, Autechre, Plastikman, Steve Rachmad, Maurizio and more.

Since redefining his identity and sound, Stefan has been publishing original productions at an increasing pace. Stefan has been the host of the monthly “Blue Industries” show on Proton Radio since 2005. In 2019, Stefan alongside James Freer started Electro/IDM label Science Cult, which has been steadily publishing Vinyl and Digital releases.

Blamhaus is now based in London, UK. As a teen he got into electronic music from legends such as daft punk, the prodigy, leftfield being major influences but as he dug deeper discovering artists such as Mad Mike, Drexciya, Claude young, Mark Broom, Jeff Mill cemented his love for the underground. He runs three labels B-Haus, Echtraí both focusing on Techno/House and Wołno (a pun for the Polish word for “Slowly”) based around slower tempos with a focus on cross genre productions.
He has provided a original track to wonder producer Zvrra's "Megaxone Vol 1" compilation (released 14 July 2023). His productions have also featured on labels such as New York Haunted, Brain Food Records, Stomp House Records, , Starlight Recordings, remixed artists such as Spec X, TR One, Bush Pig & MauRc, Danny T and has received support for DJ’s such as Peder Manderfelt, Kyle Geiger, Josh Wink, Joris Voorn, Ben Sims, Alexi Delano, Paul Ritch, Laurent Garnier, DJ Bone, B.Traits, Paco Osuna, Young Male, Luigi Madonna, Kontal, Ceil, Frank Maruel, Boxia, Sintek, Chris Fortier, Colin Dale, Haurelio, Sossa, Jim Star, Jean Jerome, Anderson Noise, Andi Durrant, Roberts Owens, Greg Chin plus many more.
