Hot off the record press, just in time to ring in the famous mobilee rooftop and pool season, Rodriguez Jr.cranks out a stellar four-track EP.

Revolving around the beauty of the 133 is, "Persistence Of Vision", a groovy and melodic little number wrapped in deep, soulful lyrics, customized to flow through the warm evening open air dance floors of Spain this summer. The Re.You remix of this utopian track speeds up the melodies just enough not to take away from the wonderfulness of it all. With some extra kinky sound gadgets sporadically added in, this jam can be worked in into any dancefloor set.

On the flip side, "Mustang" tears it up with jumping keystrokes and faint background vocals while "Alderbaran" counteracts with cheerful xylophone taps battling with sinister vocal samples, harvesting an uplifting tune.

Past rooftop parties have validated Rodriguez Jr. to be an integral part of the summer line-up and what better to launch 2014 than with a potential "summer hit". Mobilee will introduce its first ever free, bi-weekly Ibiza residency starting Monday, July 14th on the poolside dance floor of Hotel Santos Ibiza Coast Suites and Rodriguez Jr. is scheduled to deliver a sensational and intimate live set. Additionally, in a series of four events, Hotel Silken Diagonal's infamous cozy Barcelona rooftop, in conjunction with mobilee records, will host Rodriguez Jr. to close out the season along with Sebo K and Re.You on Thursday, September 9th.

This summer, his solo talents have soared to a new level as "That Noise" takes over the Leena 038. The three-track EP also features "Brigade" and "Hey".

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since Re.You last delivered one of his patented dark and
brooding releases on Mobilee, so integral has he become to the identity of Anja Schneider’s Berlinbased
imprint. But having diversified his production portfolio in 2014 with releases on Moon Harbour and
Cocoon—the latter as one half of RAR with Rampa—Re.You returns to Mobilee with three tracks certain
to satiate fans of the label’s techno leanings.
Not that Re.You was ever too far from home during his 12 month sabbatical. He appeared at almost a
dozen Mobilee events this calendar year, from Barcelona and Berlin to Croatia and Cologne. Meanwhile,
the June release of his remix of Rodriguez Jr.’s “Persistence of Vision” meant that the Berlin producer
was present, if not accounted for, all summer long—proving that when a label and producer fit so well
together, nothing can keep them apart for long.
Watching You finds Re.You in familiarly fine form, particularly pairing with South African poet
Lazarusman on the B2 track, “Vivid.” Another example of the open door policy that house music thrives
on.
