Norwegian group Fred Paa Jord return with a fresh new jam that was built for
enjoying in the sun. A gentle but euphoric track, carefree and meandering melodies are layered over buoyant percussion to craft a dreamy little summer number.

Bysykkel was created with the idea of feeling the freedom of bicycling; serving as a tribute to the “city bike”, the track was recorded on May 1 st 2020, or Labour Day.

Following their 2019 debut single ‘Bare Være Fri’, and 2020 release ‘Silkeruten,’
‘Bysykkel’ is slightly more refined, making it perfect for those deep home-listening sessions. Describing their music as “peaceful music for peaceful people,” Fred Paa Jord are cooking up a harmonious storm - and there’s much more where this came from.

Cut Me Down

@holiday-ghosts single 'Total Crisis' from forthcoming album 'North Street Air' - out May 21st.

The new single was written by occasional member of the band Charlie Murphy.  "Total Crisis was written before the world descended into an actual total crisis. It’s about deciding whether you can live with a personal problem, or whether it should be the catalyst for a big change." says Charlie.

LEKK Vol.1 will be the first release on LEKK and the first of several releases under the "Vol." series. Sometimes great music is made without any plan or idea of its future use. It’s music being made from the sole reason of creating something together. Creating a new band project and concretizing the universe of the music created often takes a lot of time and energy. 

The «Vol.» series is a platform that was made to make it easier for artists to collaborate without defining what they’ve made as a new band or project. We will be releasing music that otherwise would be left forgotten on a cloud. 

"Change Your Mind" is the first taste from the collaborative album between Nathalie Nordnes and Matias Téllez (Young Dreams) and will be released on LEKK June 14. The album "LEKK Vol.1" will be released July 5.
