Argentinian Jay De Lys becomes the third artist to release on Jamie Jones’ newly-minted Paradise Music  imprint, unveiling two new tracks across his new EP ‘Tired Of Loving’. 

Based in the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires, Jay De Lys is a name that has been appearing more frequently  across the globe following a breakout series of releases on the likes of Nic Fanciulli’s Saved, Lee Foss’ Repopulate  Mars, Stefano Noferini’s Deeperfect and Chus & Ceballos’ Stereo Productions. With heavy support from artists  such as Marco Carola, Loco Dice and Joseph Capriati, alongside appearances across Europe, North America and  beyond, early May sees De Lys turn in a landmark release within his young and promising career as he joins Jamie  Jones’ newly-launched Paradise Music for the release of ‘Tired Of Loving’. 

“I was in Barcelona for my European tour with just my headphones when I started working on this EP. I felt  that the simplicity of my studio setup gave me another perspective and workflow, making me go for more  raw and organic stuff combined with my usual Latin, percussion-focused style. I’m so happy with the  result. For me, these ‘Tired of Loving’ & ‘One Bad Bix’ tracks meant showcasing my disco/housey  influences with a modern touch.” - Jay De Lys.  

Opening the EP, title cut ‘Tired Of Loving’ is a rolling and vibrant production merging crisp rolling drums with a  funky core bassline and soulful vocals to showcase a track built for the Paradise terrace. On the flip, ‘One Bad Bix’  again dives into a carefully woven web of intricate percussion grooves, before the silky smooth melodies emerge  from deep within the mix alongside more hooky vocal samples to shape things up nicely.

Following up on its six-part ‘Tripleution’ V/A series from last year, the label now launches a new series that offers a bumper selection of irresistible beats perfect for all hours of the night.  Rising star Emery (CH) opens up the release with 'Keep It Cool', a characterful cut with bristling breaks and piano stabs laced through the mix as clipped vocals and balmy pads bring warmth to the old-school motifs. Kinhaa's 'Metal Elvis' is a steely number where dry hits and twanging synths make for a futuristic groove, complete with a brilliantly melodic bassline and playful horns. Next up, BizZa’s 'Real Dancing' is low down and dirty with a dubby bassline and squelchy acid sounds topped with loose percussion that makes you want to move.   A three-way collab between Marian, Yolanda Be Cool & Fast Eddie means 'Side To Side' is an arresting tribal house jam drawing for funky Afro drum patterns designed to pump the party. Gustaff's 'Caligula' pairs things back with fizzing synth stabs lighting up the bouncing groove. There is a raw filth in the bassline that roams beneath the crisp kicks and hits of Mariano Lunadei's twitchy 'Work That Body' before Mene's 'Cuttin 1000' adopts a high-speed house sound with edgy synths and warped vocals adding plenty of unhinged character for freely late night floors. Rounding out the V/A, Timid Boy & Frankov's 'Holograma' is a shuffling tech house beat fusing vocal fragments and laser-like synths shooting over the smooth, chord-laced grooves. Way Out unveils its 2024 ADE Sampler, inviting six new artists to the label, a mix of residents and new faces. One of the most important years, 2024 has been a year rich with good goals to remember for Way Out as they host stand-out shows abroad between Barcelona, Milan, and Turin, including OFF Sonar and Ibiza for the first time alongside the recent appearances at 93 feet east for the summer series Fabric and E1. The Ade Sampler is a diverse release V/A compilation featuring new talents, resident artists, and impressive regulars. Co-founder BRADII collaborates with Argentina Boros to add one highly requested signature track to the compilation, following peak-time and after-hours anthems from new and upcoming artists KiRKie, Nick Edwins, RedVibes Stephen Popov signed to the label, and resident artists Verso and Tim James.

And for the remix, we kindly present Libero Records' very own Mike Morrisey & Dan Costello. The boys join forces to provide their version of the A1 track 'Rock Steady' that really shows versatility and a bassline that will rock any sound system.
