Saved Records present the fourth installment of their acclaimed collection sampler series, “Collection D”. Featuring a diverse selection of artists; only two of which are close members of the Saved family, the ten-track collection welcomes a host of new friends with a heavy focus on new and emerging talent. Perfectly summing up the ethos of the label, these fresh producers unleash a collection of uncompromising, underground club-leaning bombs.

Regular Saved cohort &ME gets the collection underway with label-mates Rampa and Re.You’s fresh remix of ‘Blitz’, Sabb returns to the label following an EP earlier this year and Rob Cockerton, a permanent fixture behind the decks at Saved parties over the years, puts his first record out here. Mulletover’s Geddes makes his first appearance on Saved with the frenetic “Standup” just as rising Italian duo Macromism, New York’s Vanjee, Lancaster and Denney & Guthrie all make their Saved debuts.

Collection D has a stripped back and heady aesthetic running throughout its entirety. Jacking beats, driving basslines and pumping 303 rhythms feature heavily, creating a spine of powerful bottom end sonics. There is plenty of energy, old school vibes and a darker edge on display across the ten tacks too, making this the most underground collection of the series yet.

Get Physical co-founders M.A.N.D.Y continue to rework and remix their recent LP ‘Double Fantasy’ LP, this time round it’s ‘Rabbit Mountain’ which gets two interpretations from the duo and another from Gerd Janson. 
Up first on the package and premiered here is the ‘Rework’ version of ‘Rabbit Mountain’ which sees M.A.N.D.Y deliver a smooth and melodious take on the original, laying down seven minutes of metallic percussive chimes, rumbling subs and emotive string melodies. Gerd Janson steps up to follow, turning ‘Rabbit Mountain’ into an acid frenzy with squelching 303 bass licks acting as the driving force whilst shuffled rhythms and the original’s bell sounds ebb and flow throughout. Lastly M.A.N.D.Y deliver another mix to close the package, this time round entitled the ‘8 AM Version’ and as the name would suggest it’s aimed at those euphoric early morning moments on dance floors, doused with dreamy atmospherics and emotive string progressions.

Following on from the success of their Gully EP at the end of summer, Leftwing & Kody return to Moon Harbour with another firing collection of club cuts. 

This esteemed UK pairing have become synonymous with big, characterful and attention-grabbing house and tech tracks on labels like Suara, Relief and Truesoul. They are party starting DJ favourites across Europe and Ibiza, and always get maximum muscle in their beats. Their second offering on Moon Harbour proves that point once again. 

First up is the standout ‘Detuned,’ a raved-up number with busy claps and blasts of siren that will get hands in the air. Freaky bird-like sounds and roaming bass all suck you into this kinetic groove. Equally compelling is ‘Rock That’, with a snaking bassline that creeps about beneath rattling hits and toms. It’s a bright and metallic cut with catchy vocal riffs that amp up the energy levels as the drums keep popping and firework synths rain down from above.
