6MENO est un groupe italo-français basé à Paris.

 

Tout a commencé quand Ruben Ruta décide de quitter une carrière en banque pour se consacrer à son projet de création musicale. Il est vite rejoint par Mika Di Gioia et Rémi Liffran, deux musiciens de formation jazz à l’esprit très ouvert.

 

Dans l’été 2014 ils achèvent leur premier travail en studio, « Solo », et se produisent en concert en France et en Italie, avec notamment une petite tournée en Juillet et Août.

La musique de 6MENO est un carrefour entre post-rock et chanson d’auteur, en utilisant tous les moyens musicaux à leur disposition. Une grande importance est attachée à la recherche sur le son, qui passe aussi par le choix des paroles en Italien et en Français.

 Le concert est une occasion de réinventer la musique conçue en studio en lui donnant un nouveau souffle. En outre que sa formation officielle, 6MENO prend de temps en temps des formes différentes, comme dans les concerts intimistes en appartement (dont un réalisé et filmé dans le quartier parisien de Montmartre).
