New single from pecq. 

Brittle is about planned obsolescence - a lonely machine singing from the dump realising it was designed to die before its time. It was originally written for a surround-sound and video installation made of a bunch of abandoned tellies. The music video is the second part of a four-part series, following the same character on a journey through each track of an upcoming EP.

PNKSLM Recordings are proud to present the latest addition to the family - Manchester combo Mister Strange. The project of Tomas Walmsley (drums/vocals - also of acclaimed Manchester garage rockers Fruit Tones), Callum Rogers (bass), guitarist Ste Bradbury (guitar, synth, vocals) and Daryl Taylor (lead guitar), Mister Strange’s brand of heavy garage psych brings to mind the likes of Ty Segall’s FUZZ, Thee Oh Sees and The Stooges, operating fast-paced heavy rock machinery. Following on from last year's debut single on Australian label Third Eye Stimuli Records, the band returned earlier this summer with the new single "High Heel Heavy", the band's first release with their new label partner. New single "Laughing Wall" is another taste of their heavy garage psych combo and comes with the announcement of Mister Strange's debut EP 'I' that will be out on September 10th via PNKSLM Recordings.
