Blessing the series this week is the French producer and sound engineer Krikor. The Paris-based musical polyglot started releasing his work in the late 90's as part of the French Touch scene while developing a live performance that started seeing the light of day around 2001. Since then, he's also built op a reputable body of work with releases on labels such as Tigersushi, L.I.E.S. records,  and many others. This doesn't even include the numerous aliases and groups he forms a part of such as Plein Soleil with Chloé, who is the founder of the Kill the DJs label. As a DJ, he was featured on this year's Sensor Festival and Optimismo Festival as well as club nights in the Berghain. Lock in for an idiosyncratic selection of raw electronics touching from ambient to left-field techno. Lock in!

Nearly a decade “behind the mix” but gaining some attention mostly in recent years. Before I became Leoht I worked under a different alias that was associated with the drum and bass community in which I had become uncomfortable and decided to explore previously undiscovered directions of music in which I discovered an even greater passion than before. 

I was born and raised in Pilsen and although I am strongly attracted by the proximity to the scene in Prague, I see it as both important and a personal challenge to contribute to local culture. I draw inspiration from the club scene not only in the Czech Republic and try to make similar experiences available to the locals. I've tried different forms, different places, but as I'm getting older I don't have the energy to take advantage of every opportunity here. And that's why I've currently settled on two places where it makes sense for me and I see it as the right direction. 

I have been involved in the MōōVEMENT bar since its very beginning and I am proudly in charge of the music program that happens regularly. My second project Eclectica has started in 2021 and is designed to get closer to a more club-like environment by creating a unique experience for each night. Musically it is focused a bit more on more experimental production, combining several artistic elements into one.

Luis M. Espinosa is the founder/owner label head of Artificial Intelligence ™ which is a clear homage to the memorable Warp series, and Zyrcadian Editions which explores the wide ranging electronic genre. The main vocation of this mix will be to pay a sincere and heartfelt tribute to the pioneers of the early 1990s, from the first scene and generation of creators, artists and producers of the Bleep sound and pioneers of Braindance and IDM from labels such as Warp Records, Rephlex, Planet Mu and Skam Records. This was originally sent to us as a 4 hour plus set and we have selected an excerpt of it with Luis' permission. It truly is a beautiful journey.
