In episode 9 of the Boom Theory Podcast, we discuss Tory Lanez stealing bars (and a beat) from an independent artist (VI Seconds). A track that VI Seconds did back in 2016 ("3:30 AM" off of Demigod) sound really, really similar to Tory Lanez track "Hate To Say" off of Memories Don't Die. The beat, the flow, everything felt jacked. VI Seconds didn't take it lightly. Tory Lanez has been rather disrespectful and not admitting that he's at fault with the allegations. Funny thing is that this isn't the first time he's jacked bars from other artists. We also discuss survival in the music business as a music producer, and how loyalty comes into questions in regards to monetary gain (money) when it comes to beat selling.
