Auspex [Altær | Oath]
Having cut his teeth over the years coming up through Brooklyn’s now imperiled warehouse scene, Auspex has solidified himself as a regular fixture and contributor to its strong underground techno community, very much at home in the city's vibrant queer nightlife scene. His vision of techno as a ritual of power, domination and spiritual catharsis shows in his selections: granite-dense bangers, noise-saturated meltdowns and grooving industrial that feels like high-velocity collisions. This uncompromising and unapologetic style has seen him tapped to play as support for many international touring acts from Phase Fatale to Randomer, Kamikaze Space Programme to Headless Horseman, Juan Atkins to Rebekah—as well as being called upon to throw down on the regular at NYC techno institutions and parties such as Unter, The Black Hole, Bound and The Bunker New York. As the club scene of NYC has emerged to the forefront, he has also been tapped by The Good Room, Elsewhere, before settling in with his residency party Altær at new subterranean techno haunt, Basement. Altær is a queer, forward thinking, all-inclusive techno party that leans into the darker and heavier styles and has featured notable artists like Volvox, Henning Baer, Stephanie Sykes and VSK. The past few years have also seen him making multiple appearances in Berlin at such notable parties as Staub and Pornceptual, and venues like Griessmuehle and ://about blank. Auspex is also the label head of his own imprint, Oath--currently serving as a home for special projects from his own production work--and has released a slew of EPs and tracks outside of that on labels such as Måinmise Records, Insane Industry, Ōtomo, Bound, Vexed Sphere and more.

Dirty Epic welcomes @amnesiac_host for its forty seventh episode of Amplify Series.

Amnesiac Host started experimenting with techno around 2015, but the inspiration for the project came in 2017 after moving to Los Angeles. He then connected with like-minded producers Monix and Komprezzor in May 2018, who hosted him as a guest artist at the ‘100% Live Techno’ Movement opening party, where he premiered a well-received hardware set.

In 2019, he self-released his debut EP ‘nmap’ and followed with another EP ‘Manhattan Directorate’ on Darkroom Bureau. Then in 2020, he released ‘Nerion Shelter’ on Colombia-based Mephyst Label and made several V/A appearances for LA-based Operandi Records and The Black Lodge, before returning to Darkroom Bureau in August 2022 to release the ‘Two-Sided Ideal’ EP. In support of the EP, he played a DJ set for the PHAASER party in Nashville and a hardware set for FANTASY1 in Austin.

The DJ mix Amnesiac Host delivers here was also recorded in August, exclusively for Dirty Epic. In his own words, “I returned from the live dates wanting to focus on two things. First, sourcing more Darkroom Bureau releases: the opening track in this mix is a submission from Mt. Borracho, an experimental artist who I met when I played in Austin. The second focus I had was to write faster tracks with deeper grooves: the track I start fading in around the 11 minute mark is one example of this, and it’s the first thing I recorded after the release of Two-Sided Ideal.

Davide Carbone, music producer/DJ and label manager, born and raised in the Vesuvian area, he is now based in Berlin.
Always passionate by the musical industry, he starts to develop several aliases and collaborations, working abreast with a musical collective, developing a strong circle of labels.

D. Carbone's sound can be described as Bold Industrial Techno, Hard and fast Mainly focused on Acid Sonorities with Deep and Dramatic Atmospheres.
Carbone's career is characterised by his close friendship with Ascion with which released under various projects and aliases like -Repitch-, -3TH- and -Ascion & D. Carbone-.
From 2013 he starts to collaborate with the Mancunians duo - AnD - with whom released before under the name AD//DC on the English Label - Brothers - and the new - D.A.S. D.A. - a project that takes life on REPITCH and in which Ascion & Shapednoise are part of the project too.
Honzo is the representations of most experimental Davide's side.
His live set is an excursion from left field to broken beats and straight beat, with an increasing/decreasing speed to give out the most sinister Davide's side.
Honzo is accompanied by the video artist FAX which you can easily discover the uncanny side of the performance through the Audio/Video.
Davide is not only active part on his own labels but he also collaborates with Inner Surface Music, Ophism, Mord, Black Sun, Arboretum, Haunter records, just to mention some.

Born in Hamburg and based in Berlin since 2011, Viscerale has a classical background in piano and found her passion for selecting the right tunes for the right moment since she was young. She discovered the dancefloor in her late teens, but it took her many years to reveal her true passion.

Her first electronic mixtapes appeared around 2015, which led to requests to perform and officially started DJ-ing in clubs in October 2017. She already made her debuts in 11 countries including the US, played for the infamous Party “Herrensauna” (@herrensauna), supporting showcases of the Label “Instruments of Discipline” (@instruments-of-discipline) and is appearing regularly at Berghain´s Säule (@berghain).

Since April 2019, Viscerale belongs to the Label/Agency "Another Name" of the Club Ved Siden Af (@etandetsted) in Copenhagen, the city of her musical inspiration, where she is also holding a residency.

Driven by strong emotions and moved by fast, hypnotic & disturbing sounds, her sets are influenced by melodic, dark, rhythmic and Industrial Techno and usually transform into early 90’s Gabber and Hard Trance. 140 bpm upwards is definitely her comfort zone, always seeking high energy levels in a playful way.

Born in Munich Germany, Charly Schaller discovered her passion for Techno during her gap year when she was first exposed to it as a raver in Berlin’s Techno clubs. After moving to England to study at the University of Cambridge, she developed her penchant for diverse sub-genres of techno music after being exposed to an ambit of musical cultures in the UK. 

Upon finishing her studies in Philosophy, Charly relocated to Berlin and began Djing in various clubs and venues across Berlin and Germany, including: About Blank, Grießmühle, and Arena Club. 

Since her debut,  Charly’s DJ repertoire has embraced an eclectic musical collection that allows the audience to explore a truly personalised sensorial experience. Boasting a passion for tracks with vocals, as well as Rave, percussion heavy bangers, and dramatic synth lines, Charly merges divergent musical styles in her DJ sets as a unique signature; one that inspires the audience to be fully immersed in the euphoric experience that only music can inspire. 

Charly is currently a promoter and resident at Edge Detection (at PAL/About Blank) and Strictly Forbidden (at Maze)

More recently Charly has been picked up by Alan Fitzpatricks “We Are The Brave” label and released on their “Electric Soul” compilation in July, alongside playing various shows for the brand.
