Stuttgart based Electroménager’s very first transmission sees the day, with a solo EP entitled "800mg" from Manchester based Thodén, including a remix by Perko.
Taking inspiration from the uk’s unique bass and techno scene, Thodén delivers 4 carefully crafted tracks that explore sophisticated rhythms and dark heavy percussion, all pulled together by dreamy breakdowns to conduct those essential moments of euphoria on the dance floor. To finish it off; Numbers affiliate, Perko, produces his own take on ‘Specialist’, which results in nothing other than a dubby masterpiece driven by a charging kick. @diletamtl: This mix is an experiment in dynamics between various ultramodern 'cool vibe' corkers and house stompers, with some UKG and 100-something drummy chugging thrown in for good measure. When assembling it, I tried to focus on two things. First, rhythm juggling and layering, often changing between diagonal lift and forward propulsion, and second, toying with the impression of free fall through the use of ascending and descending high-pitched synths and abrupt drum pattern changes. There's also a fair share of cheeky fun inside. Thanks so much for listening!
