Taking a risk to edit this classic track has paid off with early support from Cristoph himself. After ending 2019 with two Beatport genre charting singles, two top 10 genre releases & heavyweight support from the likes of Cristoph, Judge Jules, Steve Parry & Jerome Isma-Ae to name but a few, Blank Page kicks off his 2020 release schedule with the original track titled “Rome”.

Making his debut on Paul Thomas’ & Aneesh Gera’s UltraViolet Music, Greg picks up where he left off with a synth laden piece of deep progressive house.

Built around a raw vocal and solid bassline, the track is supported throughout with a growing chord progression before settling into a typical Blank Page melodic breakdown. A combination of syncopated drums, synth pads, cinematic strings and a hypnotic melody combine to create this dreamy & melodic breakdown that is ever-present in Greg’s music.

After Blank Page’s original track “Rome” became one of UltraViolet Music’s top selling tracks, it was only right that it got a top remix to match. Step forward Midge…

Midge has delivered the perfect remix – keeping the core values of the track present while sprinkling his own touches throughout.

The track is driven by a hypnotic and pulsating bassline that keeps the head nodding throughout, and is supported by the original chord progression with a beautiful and delicate synth.

The original strings and vocoded vocals emerge in the breakdown but are joined by a stunning synth that wallows its way through the track and brings the whole piece to a new level. Beautiful and atmospheric, this is a piece of music that will make you shut your eyes and drift away.
