Our friendship with Andre, began when our romantic and musical relation started with this beautiful city in the beginning of the century. 
Some 20 years ago.
Freizeitglauben was the first Berlin record shop we ever visited, so it will always hold a very special place in our hearts.
His shop’s selection influenced our sound in a huge way back in those days.
It’s been 20 years of friendship, sharing music and supporting each other’s musical paths, releasing music on each other’s labels. 
Together through many musical adventures. 
It is very special for us to have a mix from Andre in our podcast series, one of our longest friendships in the Berlin scene. 

Andre is now part of the amazing Latitude Record shop, definitely one of our favourite record shops in the world, a true paradise for digging.
His knowledge and passion for electronic music run deep as you can hear and feel in this full-of-love-vibes mix!

Der Klient is a DJ from Rostock with a deep passion for vinyl and a warm, analog sound. He is best known for his long-running and highly regarded podcast Deep Afterhour, which has become a staple in the scene with nearly 400 episodes, offering a platform for profound, soulful music.

In conversation with host Andre Kronert, Der Klient comes across as a thoughtful artist with a deep-rooted love for vinyl culture – shaped by the electronic influences of the '90s. From his first gig at Interclub to his return to analog equipment and his dedicated vinyl collecting: Der Klient embodies a slowed-down, conscious approach to music. For the first mix of 2021 we pass the reins to Lithuanian DJ/Producer , Grad_u, for a 2 hour journey into his world of deep and dubbed out atmospheric techno and house.

As well as performing across the globe as both a DJ and live act for many years , the Vilnius-based artist has been releasing his well received dub infused productions for over 10 years on esteemed labels such as Knowone, Irenic and his own Redscale and Greyscale imprints.
