Monster

Blaqrock is a cataclysm of cultures and sounds through one body.  Creating a dynamic energy and emitting it on stage.  Blaqrock narrates this by bringing your alternative truths to life. 

     Combining classic hip hop/rap styles with hard rock and jazz influences, the sound of Blaqrock emerges as something uniquely energetic. With introspective and thoughtful lyrics, hard-hitting and catchy riffs, the songs and performances of Blaqrock are always memorable. 

     The band has headlined at notable Chicago venues such as the Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville, Cobra Lounge, and the Elbo Room.  They have also performed at the Metro, the Subterranean, the Emporium, HVAC Pub, and the Wire.  The band has the ability to play alongside both rock and hip-hop artists while staying true to their own sound and style.
