Next up on Othercide is the latest addition to the label roster - C-Netik - a name well known to followers of the hardest and darkest Drum & Bass, ventures once again outside of his and your comfort zone to blend his signature sounds and influences with otherwordly futuristic Hardcore and more, with Odyssey.

The title track, a collaboration with DJ Hidden, as well as 'Afterlife', are built to evoke emotions and visions of a bleak but mysterious future with plenty to discover and unfold. Seamlessly blending genres in proper cinematic style, with the full force of powerful basskicks and epic synthlines.

Two more tracks complete this EP, Infinite Corridor, a more adventurous take on the Technoid D&B subgenre, and Crooked Egos, a heavy stomper in collaboration with Dunats, bringing together pounding rhythms and deep elements of science fiction for a crazy ride worthy of a post-apocalyptic dancefloor.

We are thrilled  that award winning czech DJane @abelyndnb accepted invitation for our guest mix series. ✨ Abelyn, real name Evelína, is an Ostrava DJ who took the full plunge into DJing at the end of 2021. Since then she has been in the spotlight not only in the Czech Republic, but also in Austria, Poland, Slovakia and Germany. She is known for her uncompromising energy and willingness to experiment, Abelyn's neuro-funk sets are often interspersed with harder crossbreed, giving her a distinctive sound. But she doesn't just share Drum and Bass behind the mix - people can also hear her voice on Fatal Terror, the legendary radio show that runs every Wednesday on Fresh Radio.

With a history of collaboration in the form of “Reign in Hell” on PRSPCT recordings, as well as solo releases across labels such as Algorythm Recordings & Yellow Stripe Recordings, the 2 part team created by this pairing now bring their hardcore influenced drum & bass sounds to OTHERCIDE for a devastating single release. Sealed within its bounds are a pair of powerful sonics designed for maximum potential impact.

SPIDER’s initial creeping rhythm grows in stature over its introduction, quickly becoming a brash arpeggiated lead that provides the springboard for the track’s primary aspect, a sharply edged bassline that moves to a funk fueled rhythm atop a torrent of percussion. The menacing atmosphere of HATRED finds quarter with its predecessor, driven by similar tonality as its vocal sample calls forth a destructive assault of straight beat drums & a gnashing bassline, before reaching its peak in a furious flurry of its many elements combined.

The new decade has come hand in hand with a new danger. People need to be prepared and have the best weapons at hand for possible conflicts. The most devastating weapon that exists is the new release from duo called Noisecrew, coming from border between Moravia and Silesia.
First track - "Firepower" is the ultimate arp infused tool for the dancefloor. Next comes "Heading South" which is the laser accuracy sound massacre. Finalizing it with heinous collaboration with Slovak mercenary "Gorebug" called "Hydraulic Pumper". This group of 3 tracks should be named as weapons of mass destruction.
