Give Me Jesus

Elio Tatti, accomplished bass player, composer and arranger from Cisterna di Latina, took in hand a frequent desire to create a program of Christmas songs in Jazz arrangements. The result is in this set, recorded as a demo in 2010, that since its inception nearly six years ago has traveled around Italy and expects to be showcased abroad. The group includes Elio Tatti, leader, double bass, arranger, Antonello Vannucchi, piano, Giampaolo Ascolese, drums, Filiberto Palermini, alto sax and singer Beverly Lewis. A few well known favorites are here, plus some novel twists to the yuletide spirit! Enjoy!
