Grounded is a festival of electronic music, critical thinking and activism, that addresses current social issues by combining the seemingly incompatible: deinstitutionalised theoretical debates, everyday social activism and progressive electronic club culture. Through debates, projections, presentations, music performances and hangouts – the baselines of which are equality irrespective of personal circumstances, solidarity with the weak and the autonomy to govern your own fate – the participants seek relevant, eligible and responsible answers to the contemporary challenges.
 
The first edition of the festival was held in 2015 with the theme Autonomy of migration. Theme in 2018 was Intimacy in the age of artificial intelligence, in 2019 Automation and Power, in 2020, in 2021 The State and last year Responsibility. 

2023 theme is Peace.

Blažen DJ is an expert of broken beats and bass, across all the tempos and subgenres. From new bangers to old classics, from dance frenzy to blissful joy.

One of the most profiled and internationally established Slovenian electronic musicians, operating somewhere in between club and avant-garde, exploring unique rhythmical atmospheres.

For the last two decades I've kept myself busy octopus style: playing records, promoting club nights, making beats, running a label, working on two radio stations, writing as a music journalist and having a band.

YILA is the name for a changing collaborative project lead by Sound Artist Alastair McNeill.

His work takes many musical forms; performing with David Toop’s Unknown devices group, Producing for Scroobius Pip, touring with Roisin Murphy, designing immersive musical theatre pieces, working with authors on voice manipulated ambisonic installations and most recently working with Laibach’s vocalist Mina. Alastair McNeill a prolific experimenter, keeps shifting his own musical boundaries from Orchestral Pop / Electronica to Techno and noise within this Moniker.
