Techno producer Öspiel is set to release his third single, "Boreal Festen," on September 16, 2025. 
This track continues a compelling series of bi-monthly, independent releases, following "Your Kiss My Bliss" and the contrasting "Tarantulas Are Scary," further showcasing his evolving sound and artistic depth.
"Boreal Festen" is a profound journey into the convergence of industrial techno and ambient soundscapes. 
Drawing inspiration from the strange beauty of the Nordic atmosphere: its aurora lit skies, ice, and biting cold; the track's Swedish title directly evokes this unique environment. 
Öspiel weaves a complex tapestry of atmospheric sonic elements, creating an entanglement of harmonic resonances.
The initial section unfolds as a contemplative, ethereal soundscape, gradually giving way to a rhythm-centric second half. 
This shift represents a return to the essential, a grounded re-entry after witnessing a celestial phenomenon.

Dextro is one of the most active producers. He learned the art of DJ'ing in the early 90's 
and has a different perspective on music. His residencies in several clubs forged his name and helped
him create his own distinctive brand of music.

The Berlin native Black Lotus is a multi-talent, plays at venues all across Europe and made herself into a sought after artist in no-time. She made a mix exclusively for Selektor.

The German DJ and producer has a broad creative background that includes acting, graphic design, performance art, photography and many more, but of course also music. Although she's only begun her musical journey in 2016, she already has a release on Flash Recordings, Florian Meindl's label, named Resilience. The Berlin native has regular appearances at renowned clubs like Griessmuehle, KitKat Club and Suicide Circus and also had gigs at large festivals like Exit Festival in Serbia. Earlier this year saw the release of Aether, with a remix of the Dutch producer Jeff Rushin and at the end of 2019 Black Lotus will launch her own vinyl only label Luminal rec., featuring the already popular dance floor track Omnipresent as the first release. 

The purist sound of Black Lotus has a hypnotising working and takes you to the heart of Berlin, the way it sounds in clubs like Berghain and Tresor.

- a raw old-schooled rave interpretation cut from a freestyle 303 jam.

“High-Octane” dives towards even faster worlds while developing a relentless grinding touch that reminds of good old days.

“Mechanic Galaxy” on Side B is their soft counterpart;
With its dreamy chords and dancing shakers it balances this four-tracker out - a constellation we are used to from previous EPs.

Also “Interplanetary” comes along with a puristic touch, while focusing on less elements 
- never compromising on the speeds.
