This third release of Black Lotus on Florian Meindl's FLASH Recordings enqueues in her reflection on space and physics and hypnotizes the listener in her usual kind. 

According to ancient and medieval science, Aether is the material that fills the region of the universe above the terrestrial sphere. 
In mythology it is seen as the personification of the heaven - the soul of the world and element of all life. An undetectable substance. 
The invisible material thought to permeate all the empty space in the universe. The pure air that the gods breathe in the heavens. 

Kicking off with the opening theme, with its wild synth hook and sweeping ride, ‘Aether’ induces a solid trip on the dancefloor. 

The second track explores deeper territories with its dynamic cymbals, spacey 303 textures and monotonous dark mood. 

Distant Signal is a supernatural story about incessant galactic bleeps, accompanied by heavy kicks and a highly energetic percussion. 

On remix duties, Jeff Rushin delivers a trippy vinyl version plus an additional digital bonus.

"You can get deeply lost in the darkness if you let yourself merge with it and not fight it.” With this statement, Denise Rabe vividly encapsulates her musical philosophy. As this episode of DYSTOPIA exhibits, her sound is less a musical form than a collection of sounds generating a tense, haunting atmosphere. Rabe's methods and ideas show with total clarity how darkness, what our society incorrectly perceives as negative, is in fact an opening onto a radically liberated world of abstract forces. In this episode I seek to define the meaning of darkness in techno and Denise also shares her thoughts with us about Berghain, the role of gender within the techno scene, how her personal philosophy is expressed through her music, as well as the fortuitous synergy between her name and the spirit of her music. Gannein hosts Psykoterapi in "Gannein Curates" on Line Out Radio !

Julia Larsson, also known as Psykoterapi, has been involved with the scene for nearly a decade, both as a raver and as a member of an underground culture community in her hometown, focusing on arranging electronic music events. As a DJ, she has quickly made her mark in the scene. Since stepping behind the decks in early 2023, she has established herself as one of Stockholm’s rising DJ talents, currently holding residencies at the underground rave concept Spektrum and at Koordinat, a club and rave event concept.

Her sets are known for their high-energy atmosphere, blending fast-paced, dark groove, hypnotic loops and broken/break beats with minimalistic rhythms to create a unique and immersive experience.
