Demi Riquísimo returns to his Semi Delicious hand-stamped white label with another four impeccable disco fusion party tracks. Guitar lead ‘Shameless Progression’ follows skittering disco hats across a scape of lasers, a pulsing bassline and Italo synth business. ‘Encona’ is a summery re-edit of a foreign disco classic you'll no doubt recognise (shh..), Demi has added his naughty robotic FM bassline and some proper drum chunk to the mix, a tasteful re-hash right until the end.

The A is a beefed-up take on a punchy European disco staple. An infectious groove is coupled with fluttering arpeggios and a rigorous bassline that builds tension throughout to deliver some peak-time power.

Meanwhile on the flip, B1 brings synthesised and organic voices together with eerie melodies and a low slung beat, creating a rock-infused haze. B2 finishes the release off on a house tip, with a relentless percussive loop that bends between mind-melting FX and an uncompromising square wave bass.

It’s epochal synth array referencing classic Italo disco whilst revealing a precision sign-writing maturity that belies the fact that this is indeed the duo’s first release! Spurting tantalizing synth solos and interlocking leads from its holographic sphere, you could easily been sent spiraling into the speaker stacks, eyes-wide-shut upon hearing this piece – note RLC will not be held liable for any injuries sustained!
