Martedì is a homage to Francis Lai and the French film soundtracks of the 1970s. As a young child, I discovered Lai's Bilitis soundtrack in my father's record collection, and its beautiful melody captivated me, staying with me ever since. For the wordless vocal part of Martedì, I invited the wonderful artist Nin Lil to collaborate.
