Black Light Disco was back on the MyhouseRadio.fm airwaves to give the middle finger to the Monday blues and wave an out of date prawn in the face of post-weekend malaise. 

This week, it was the turn of Goz, our resident from North of The Border to conduct proceedings from the brand new Kangaroo Court Room here in BLD Towers. Goz was hearing cases of crimes against disco and issuing the strictest custodial sentences to those  who were found guilty of such an affront to the law. 

Joining Goz in his twisted court of justice this was a special guest who has been setting the scene alight for a good while now - Jet Boot Jack! 

Also known as Adriel Leff, Jet Boot Jack is a super talented DJ and producer who’s tracks always hit that sweet spot of uptempo disco and house heaven. His remixes have clocked up over 5 million streams (yes, 5 MILLION!) which have increased his notoriety right across the globe. Believe us, this guy knows how to work a crowd, and we’re delighted to see him make his BLD debut on the one and only MyHouseRadio.fm! This set is packed to the brim with upcoming, new and secret stash stuff which will hand down deserved justice on your ears!

The idea of Black Light Disco became a real thing when a few like-minded DJs and producers came together to put on a night showcasing the very best in disco, house and funk and everything in between. Our ethos is based around a very simple concept: GOOD MUSIC, GOOD TIMES with GOOD PEOPLE. We announced ourselves on a gorgeous sunny Saturday in June 2019 with an all day and night party in Liverpool’s thriving Baltic Triangle area. It was the start of something very special. 

We have a solid core group of musical talent residing in BLD Towers hailing from England, Scotland, Wales, Northen Ireland and Italy -  providing perfectly cooked grooves and juicy basslines. 

The BLD team comprises of Esteban, Goz (Spin City), Pookie Knights, Cole Kutz (Opentempo.fm) De Gama and Fingerman (Hot Digits) – clocking up decades of DJ’ing and dancefloor experience between us. As individuals, the BLD team have been producing consistently high quality sets over the last few years. Now, as a collective, the aim is to make Black Light Disco THE place to promote new music and to bring you the very best in established/up-and-coming artists and producers in the sunlit uplands of sonic pleasure. 

In January 2020, we launched a weekly show on THE biggest house music FM radio station in New York, MyHouseRadio.fm (also available digitally at www.myhouseradio.fm).  The Black Light Disco Show airs every Monday exclusive to MyHouse Radio between 7pm – 9pm GMT (2pm -4pm EST), bringing you the finest in disco, funk and boogie; all delivered by our expert in-house Sonic Consultants (resident DJs) with guest mixes from the hottest producers, DJs and artists out there right now.
