The Black Light Disco Show was back on the myhouseradio.fm airwaves on Monday 9th January 2022 following a short break for the holiday season.

BLD 'Best of 2022' with Pookie Knights

The Black Light Disco Show bell was ringing loudly again as it returned to the myhouseradio.fm airwaves for another 2 hours of heavenly sonic vibes. 

This week, it’s the turn of our residents Goz and Esteban to open up the dressing up box here in BLD Towers and put some fancy duds on befitting for the show ahead. 

First up is Spin City Head Honcho and BLD stalwart, Goz who will be navigating the first hour with the wind in his sails and cutlass in between his teeth. Expect gems from Eddie C, Les Inferno, Paul Older and Hotmood to be pulled out of the swag bag. 

For the second hour, Esteban takes the helm with a fine selection of sea shanties including tracks from I Gemin, Tech Support, Corrado Alunni, Vyktor Nova, Brothers In Arts and Sammy Deuce to name but a few.

Support includes airplay on BBC 6 Music Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show with 'Hold On Me' making it onto Craig Charles' best of 2022 show. Juno Download also included tracks from Cosmic Miracles in the best Balearic/Downtempo of 2022. 

The year also saw 5 top 100 positions on Traxsource and Ben also received a nomination for 'Emerging Producer of the Year 2022' at the OGV Music Awards.

The Black Light Disco show airs exclusively on the #1 house music station on the planet - myhouseradio.fm. Tune in every Monday from 2pm-4pm EST, 7pm-4pm GMT, 8pm-10pm CET. 

The idea of Black Light Disco became a real thing when a few like-minded DJs and producers came together to put on a night showcasing the very best in disco, house and funk and everything in between. Our ethos is based around a very simple concept: GOOD MUSIC, GOOD TIMES with GOOD PEOPLE. We announced ourselves on a gorgeous sunny Saturday in June 2019 with an all day and night party in Liverpool’s thriving Baltic Triangle area. It was the start of something very special. 

We have a solid core group of musical talent residing in BLD Towers hailing from England, Scotland, Wales, Northen Ireland and Italy -  providing perfectly cooked grooves and juicy basslines. 

The BLD team comprises of Esteban, Goz (Spin City), Pookie Knights, Cole Kutz (Opentempo.fm) De Gama and Fingerman (Hot Digits) – clocking up decades of DJ’ing and dancefloor experience between us. As individuals, the BLD team have been producing consistently high quality sets over the last few years. Now, as a collective, the aim is to make Black Light Disco THE place to promote new music and to bring you the very best in established/up-and-coming artists and producers in the sunlit uplands of sonic pleasure. 

In January 2020, we launched a weekly show on THE biggest house music FM radio station in New York, MyHouseRadio.fm (also available digitally at www.myhouseradio.fm).  The Black Light Disco Show airs every Monday exclusive to MyHouse Radio between 7pm – 9pm GMT (2pm -4pm EST), bringing you the finest in disco, funk and boogie; all delivered by our expert in-house Sonic Consultants (resident DJs) with guest mixes from the hottest producers, DJs and artists out there right now.
