Hola ! Moi c’est @djsibel, et je suis vraiment heureuse de débuter ma résidence chez Radio Béguin ! 
Je remercie toute l'équipe pour la confiance accordée.

Ces prochains mois j’inviterai des artistes qui m’inspirent au quotidien. Je puise mes inspirations dans toutes les cultures, à commencer par la Turquie (mon pays d’origine), et également en Amérique latine (Colombie, Argentine), et en Europe (Pays-Bas, Royaume-Uni, Allemagne). Des artistes venus d’ici et d’ailleurs se succèderont ces prochains mois. 

Ce mois-ci j’ai le plaisir d'inviter @sinistermind_r, aka Pablo Vivas, un DJ et producteur colombien émergent, très doué, que je suis depuis un moment. Il a accepté de répondre à mes questions ci-dessous, je l’en remercie !

Hello Pablo, who are you ?

I'm Juan Pablo Vivas Aka Sinistermind producer an DJ from Bogotá, Colombia inspired by hip hop, organic sounds of nature. I've been making music for 6 years I started producing some hip hop beats and playing on best underground techno partys a along time. After some years I went to Denmark to study music production and now I live in Mexico city. 


How would you describe your mix?

This mix is deep! it has a lot of new music some unreleased from my next album (Punto Caliente) and some from a friends. Also has some tracks of my library with some of the best producer’s of nowadays I think. I love envolver sounds and dub atmospheres some times I love being rush too <3


Which artists, DJs, producers inspire you?

Some of artist that inspire me along my way on techno has been: Ben Clock, Setaoc Mass, Dax J, Ben Sims, Rene Wise, Yan Cook, Extrawelt, Dubfire, Oliver Huntemann and a lot more :) but I think those are some of my best watching them.


What was your best moment on stage?

I think some of the best moments on stage has been with my family Overground / Sensor / TNR [Bogotá, Colombia] more than 3.000 souls dancing with my rhythms love it!


What is your B2B dream?

My b2b dream I think can be Ben Klock.

Menal Batti, known as Ehrenschwesta, invites us to explore her energetic yet atmospheric sound of her roots and experiences. As a Swedish techno DJ based in Vienna, a member of Wiener Gerüstbau collective and a co-founder of SAMAYA, she strives for musical expression beyond entertainment. Embracing her Kurdish heritage, she amplifies her rhythmic narrative with an inspiration that she drew from her father’s instrument, the saz.
Ehrenschwesta’s journey into the scene was sparked by her enthusiasm for the 90’s techno music; yet, while assembling her unalike inspiration and passion into a coherent whole, she developed her own style, in which she blends different manifestations of the genre. In addition to her regular performances at local clubs such as Grelle Forelle, PRST and Das Werk, Ehreschwesta’s rapid professional growth was celebrated in Germany, Spain, Croatia, Georgia as well as Sweden. Following her breakthrough success at gigs where she played for
Herrensauna, Marcel Dettman’s Bad Manners showcase and Unchained Blitz, Ehrenschwesta will deliver her powerful and rhythmic message in a fast and atmospheric manner.

Music has always fascinated me. I've always dealt intensively with artists music across many genres. Whether it was metal, indie, psy-rock or rap. Electronic music, especially techno, captivated me in a very special way for several reasons. It creates an atmosphere over a longer period of time that can tell whole stories, no mere stringing of songs with pauses in between – one thing I love about DJing. Plus, of course, come together and dance in many spaces that I've experienced in countless club nights in Berlin. Dancing is a great passion of mine, which I love to do in interaction with other people to fast beats in a wild and mesmerizing environment. I think a key moment in this regard was definitely my dance experience at Bassiani.

For my current style of DJing, I’m focusing on a high tempo and a selection of driving and hypnotic as well as clear and precise sounds, which can also be found in this mix. In addition to my solo project as Nona, I'm also part of @xonicmusix a DJ duo consisting of @seshanmusic and me. Interestingly, we play a completely different sound, which in turn influences ours and the other way around – an endless cycle of musical influences.

For me, techno is not just about DJing and dancing, it's political. It offered and is still offering opportunities to create places of freedom of expression where alternative cultures and identities come together creating new spaces of experience that the world urgently needs. Never forget where techno came and what values it stands for! <3

Though a relatively well-kept secret on the international scene just yet, the name of Comrade Winston shall ring a bell to the habitués of Reaktor Events and Operator Radio, where the Amsterdam-based jockey holds a residency. A dexterous dealer of high-octane techno, which he likes to weave along fibrous jacking house, 90s strain breaks and further all-terrain body music to keep everyone pumped up on the dancefloor from start to finish, the Dutch groove manipulator goes all in with a vinyl-only delivery and shunts the engine to straight out outrageous levels of no-nonsense face-meltingness.
