Cosmic Speck tells the story of Kael, the last survivor on a desolate planet orbiting a dying star—a
“cosmic speck” in the universe. After a civilization collapses due to war and catastrophe, Kael faces isolation amidst ruins,
haunted by memories of lost loved ones. The song’s intro reflects their quiet despair, while Verse 1 captures their rage at
futility and acceptance of their smallness. The chorus is Kael’s defiant cry—“You’re tiny on the rock, but you’re alive!”—
igniting a spark to “tear through the dark.” Verse 2 explores loss and legacy, with the bridge marking a turning point as
Kael laughs at life’s absurdity, embracing their scars. The breakdown is their rebellion against fate, shouting “TINY ON
THE ROCK!” to survive the moment. The final chorus and outro show Kael at peace, living fully despite the void. This
narrative drives the song’s metalcore energy—clean vocals for reflection, screams for defiance, and breakdowns for
rebellion.

Noted as Alternative Press' Most Anticipated album of 2013, the band commissioned producer Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Of Mice & Men) to record new album Hollow Bodies. Never before recruiting outsiders, the band enlisted the help of friends to feature 3 guest vocal spots on Hollow Bodies, including Jake Luhrs of August Burns Red, Jesse Barnett of Stick To Your Guns, and electro-rock sensation Lights. The band is currently on the entire Vans Warped Tour for their main stage slot, adding to an already impressive tour resume that includes runs with As I Lay Dying, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, and August Burns Red.
