Hello Deep Lovers and House heads alike. Today is a special day, Not only because its another Friday closer to those holidays but also today marks a new day on the Bbp calender. Today is the day we introduce our new Tribute section were we Profile international artists but with a twist.... We show case a little bit of their work with a mix consisting of song Produced or Remixed by the particular artist.

So in celebration of Jesus Pablo heading to our shores we decided to Tribute the great Producer and Live performers' work. Jesus Pablo will be playing at the Legendary Signature 008 brought to you by no other than the KI TI Housekeeping company. It's going to be a banger, 4 hour set along side greats such as Renato Rodrigues and Tin Haus, it's going to be epic.

DJ, producer, remixer, record label boss… Jesus Pablo wears many hats. What's more, as well as juggling his many musical commitments, he's also forging a career as a fashion designer, marking out the 31-year-old Liverpudlian with the Spanish-sounding alias – in real life he's known as Paul Morgan – as a truly creative individual.

Which no doubt goes some way to explaining how he's managed to build up such an impressive discography, despite having been in the production game for a relatively short time. Not that he's any stranger to the house scene in general: he started DJing around his home town at the tender age of 16, playing “house and piano classics on a Sunday night in his local”. 

Today, Jesus Pablo's is a distinctive and very contemporary sound that fuses deep house and garage flavas with touches of techno, with his many productions, remixes and collaborations appearing on some of the most respected labels in the house/deep house game, including I! Records, Lost My Dog, What Happens, Endemic Digital, Headtunes Recordings, Deso Records, Savoir Faire Musique and more. 

As a DJ, he's already made his mark on the international circuit, having undertaken a month-long tour of the USA and Mexico last year. He's also racked up gigs in Poland, Georgia and Denmark, as well as manning the decks at a host of underground clubs across the UK – always sticking to his key philosophy: “Music should make you dance, smile and think all at the same time, so that's what I intend to do.”

Most recently, he's joined forces with his production partner-in-crime Di Riviera to launch Something Different, a new record label that's already picking up mucho plaudits from those in the know. Following in the footsteps of scene smashes like Dave Martin's 'Deep Control EP', Mr Leman's 'Love That Deep' and J Kar's 'Baby Dreaming EP', the label's latest offerings are Matthieu Duchesne's 'Afternoon In The Garden EP' and Aartekt's 'You & Me EP' (no less a personage than Sasha recently emailed the label asking for a Dub of the latter, a request which our man speedily fulfilled!) and the flow of seriously satisfying deep and tech-house from the Merseyside stable shows no sign of drying up any time soon.

Fast building a reputation as one of the industry's hardest working, Jesus Pablo is clear about his aims – he's in this for the long haul. Hell, he's been at it 15 years already, why stop now? He'll keep on spreading the love of quality underground dance music wherever he goes… and this is one up-and-coming talent who truly IS going places, have no doubt!
