The idea occurred after a long jam with custom pedals that produced unexpected textures and rhythmic patterns. The samples were then processed inside the DAW, and several additional elements were added, resulting in this extraordinary tune. 

Human Eclipse combines broken beats with atmospheric elements, marking the beginning of the 'Dystopia' EP journey.

The composition was created using some stock pads and drum loops from Ableton as a base, overlaid with synth melodies mimicking real instruments. The piece seeks to evoke a blend of bittersweet emotions, gradually intensifying to a more forceful, aggressive ambiance. Central to this evolution is a custom bass from Ableton's Operator, enriched with distortion and expanded stereo field. The progression follows a linear trajectory, emphasizing gradual development over a catchy hook.

After a decade of listening to and creating rave music, we reached a point where we had to move to another territory, where we apply fewer rules and are more free with rhythmic patterns. The track was originally made at a lower tempo, but by the time the creation process was completing, we decided to raise it a bit. While it retains some familiar rhythmic patterns, "Offset Spatial Divergence" can definitely be categorized as an experimental track, combining breaks/breakcore with Noise/IDM, while maintaining a flow that could pump up a dancefloor.

The track's title is inspired by ©Menithings Productions, Inc. 'Alien Interview' and we have also used some samples from the interview. This story definitely resonates with the EP name 'Dystopia,' and the track sets the timeline at a very crucial and intense point of humanity's self-destruction.

Bleximo was created when we combined many of our solo ideas, developed over several years, into one project. These ideas were genre-agnostic and didn't have a home until the project was formed. After that, we started making music and jamming together, creating new tracks with the same mindset.

'Moral Decay' is one of those tracks. The drum loops were made on Digitakt during a live jam session, and the arrangement was completed using the Minibrute, 0-Coast, as well as Ableton synths, samples, and FX. The track represents a gradual evolution that peaks in an explosion, simulating a giant ball of energy held back until the final burst.

The track was made on a very hot summer day in the city of Athens, while fires raged in various places around the city, creating a dystopian, suffocating landscape with an ochre hue. 

In the melodies of the intro, we aimed to capture the essence of this yellowish color, evoking the surreal and oppressive atmosphere. Initially titled 'Yellow Day,' the track underwent significant transformation during production. Drum loops were put through a distortion effect, with multiple takes recorded, processed, and edited. We also "borrowed" the bassline from our track 'Dystopia,' altering its tone and enhancing its aggression with added distortion. As the track progresses, it peaks into a rage, reflecting the anger and frustration over the environmental disaster. 

The result is 'Time Warp,' a track that mirrors the chaotic and intense environment we experienced.

Bleximo - Time Warp

During the COVID-19 pandemic, as the world struggled under the weight of an invisible enemy, another battle raged on the streets of Greece. The government, claiming to protect us, imposed harsh restrictions that went beyond public health measures—restrictions that shackled our freedoms, silenced our voices, and crushed our spirits. Citizens found themselves facing not just the fear of the virus, but also the terror of unchecked authority.

"Resistance" is born out of this dark period, a time when the thin line between security and oppression was crossed time and time again. The streets echoed with the sounds of protest, but the violence wasn't confined to demonstrations alone. Everyday life became a battlefield, with police brutality spilling into our neighborhoods and homes. People were beaten and harassed, not just for speaking out, but for simply existing. The enforcers of the law became instruments of fear, using unnecessary and unlimited violence against citizens in routine encounters, turning ordinary moments into scenes of intimidation and cruelty.

This track captures the raw emotion of those days. The anger, the defiance, and the unyielding spirit of a people who refuse to be broken. It’s a call to stand up, to push back, to resist the abuses of power that infiltrate every corner of our lives. It's a reminder that even in the face of overwhelming force, our collective will cannot be silenced. It channels the pain, the frustration, and the unrelenting hope of a generation that stood against the tide of oppression. "Resistance" is not just a song; it’s a rallying cry, a declaration that no matter how hard they try to crush us, we will rise again and again. ✊

"Colorblind" blends psychedelic elements with breakbeat influences. The track features a collaboration with Giorgos Gargalas, one of Greece's top beatboxers, who also played handpan on the track. Built around the handpan, its recorded and processed tones were used to structure the intro and bridges. Starting atmospherically, the track evolves into a groovy composition with layered psychedelic leads.

The title and artwork reference Vasilis’ daltonism (colorblindness) with a touch of humor, reflected in the colorblind test-inspired artwork. After months of experimentation and refinement, this is one of our most detailed releases.

Colorblind

A simple, nostalgic electric guitar melody was the starting point for this track. Processed through a series of effects, it evolved into the dreamlike intro, soon joined by subtle oscillator movements and a grounding bassline.

A carefully crafted blend of samples and field recordings forms a bouncy, glitchy, and emotionally charged beat that carries the listener forward, building intensity until it bursts into layered textures and noise.

At Last

A long piano improvisation, processed through a wild series of Ableton effects, is the starting point for Solitude. It captured the overall feeling and planted hidden layers that later guided the track’s evolution.
The first part carries a heavy sense of loneliness, with a noisy IDM-inspired beat expressing deeper, uncomfortable emotions.
As the track unfolds, a subtle transformation appears. A Moog Minitaur solo sheds light, and the atmosphere shifts toward a more peaceful solitude, offering a glimpse of optimism and hope for the future.

Almost a troll track, yet somehow it still finds a way to touch the soul. A broken, detuned key-like instrument plays a haunted lullaby, only to be crushed by the dirtiest beat imaginable.
The story loops in a surreal, unsettling manner, layered with strange samples and synths that pull you deeper into the chaos.
We wouldn’t recommend using this one as an actual lullaby.

A pure jam session turned track, Open Sky was born spontaneously in Giorgos Gargalas’ studio, where many ideas were explored, but this one made it through.
It all started with a beat on the Digitakt, which was then sped up to a faster tempo that gave it a better feel. A captivating synth/piano melody was added, creating a catchy hook to tie it all together.
The track evolves with a Moog Subharmonicon synth, played by Giorgos Gargalas, adding depth and character.
It always reminds us of a sky ride on a cyber motorcycle,. something straight out of Tron. The ride starts smooth but quickly accelerates into something fast and wild. Fly with us.
