Not only are we celebrating the 20th anniversary of the label. This is the 150th episode of our podcast series! That's 12,5 years of mixes from the left side of the dancefloor. For our jubilee we welcome Michael Mayer from Cologne. He is not only an amazing DJ, but also our distribution boss at Kompakt. Here's what he says about his mix:

"One fine day there was a package on my desk, inside a 7" single with good mood music on yellow vinyl, wrapped in a hand painted good mood cover. It was Pingipung 01, Peter Presto's "Es war Sommer" and it was love at first sight. That this flash in the pan would turn into a 20-year (business) relationship is one of the most beautiful stories you can experience in the music business. Pingipung is a beacon of DIY culture, fed by deep devotion to impossible music. I am very happy to be able to present this musical bouquet for their anniversary."

Unsere Podcast Serie geht weiter und wir freuen uns ganz fest, einen alten Freund und exzellenten Musiker sowie DJ, unter anderem ganz oft auch bei den Sinneswandel Events, vorzustellen (wenn es dies noch braucht), der auch international Aufmerksamkeit erreicht und Spuren hinterlassen hat.
Mit seinem Musikgeschmack trifft Mastra meistens ins Herz und lässt mit seinen Sets der Crowd keine andere Möglichkeit als zu tanzen, bis das Shirt nass ist.
Eines ist dabei immer Programm und gegeben. Er geht tief und funky und dies beweist er hier bei uns einmal mehr.
Als Produzent hat er bereits ein beachtliches Palmares und releast z.B. regelmässig auf dem renommierten Berner Label, Sirion Records oder hatte auch schon Veröffentlichungen auf Labels, wie Cynosure oder Björn Wilkes Kaato Music oder auch auf Pablo Bolivar’s Seven Villas Label
So, nun empfehle ich Euch einzutauchen und geniessen… nicht mit wippen fast unmöglich :-)

Our podcast series continues and we are very happy to introduce an old friend (if it still needs this)and excellent musician and DJ, among other things quite often also at the Sinneswandel events behind the decks, who has also reached international attention and left his mark.
With his musical taste Mastra hits the heart and leaves with his sets the crowd no other option than to dance until the shirt is wet.
One thing is always program and given. He goes deep and funky and this he proves here with us once again.
As a producer he already has a considerable palmares and releases e.g. regularly on the renowned Bern label, Sirion Records or had already releases on labels like Cynosure or Björn Wilkes Kaato Music or also on Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas label.
So, now I recommend you to dive in and enjoy... not bobbing is almost impossible :-)
