A multi-talented vocalist and Rapper of African Caribbean decent born in Montserrat and moved to Antigua at the age of 4 to escape the volcanic eruption on Montserrat. He also spent time and travelled to various Caribbean Islands. And he also Lived in New Jersey and Philadelphia. And he is currently based in Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom. Blico Gualla is making music that is thoughtful, conscious and driven by a desire to motivate, inspire, comfort and spread love and joy to all those that hear it.
Gualla is an embodiment of diversity by spending time absorbing various cultures he continuously grows his sound. His styles are very diverse coupled by accents and lyrical content that are reflective of his experiences. It was during this period of evolution through absorbing different cultures that Blico Gualla’s creativity and undeniable talent began to shine through. He ultimately developed a style of songwriting that is transparent, daring and full of hope and reflective of his experiences, thought and ambitions, turning his pain into purpose and lessons into studio sessions.
Blico Gualla has had a vast array of musical influences however he accredits the pivotal influences in his music to his sponge like nature of absorbing and creating, with inspiration from his daughter who shares in the creation experience. This all culminates in Blico Gualla producing a musical experience that is enjoyable, easy going and fun but still seeks to provoke thought and Blico Gualla uses his music as a vehicle to express his perspectives and tell stories.
