On May 12th Ross from Tadzio asked if I would do a cover of Joy Division's Isolation for a Radio program in Vienna about COVID 19. Oddly (or predictably enough) that idea had percolated in my head during the first week of quarantine being that my formative musical years were formed by a steady diet of gloomytunez spearheaded by Joy Division. I was on a kick and then did a cover of New Order's in a lonely place while hashing out a livestream Br'er set and recorded it in a day (give or take). All the trcajs were coincidentally finished on the 40th anniversary of Ian Curtis' death so I wanted to share them.
