For the sixth episode I am super glad, to present you this amazing mix by our friend Absolem, a close friend and a true connoisseur of electronic music, currently based in Berlin.

Absolem stands for driving, hard groove sounds that go straight to the heart and legs. His music is heavily influenced by the Berlin techno scene and creates a dense, almost mystical atmosphere reminiscent of the wild jungle. The sets are full of energy, pulsating rhythms and a groove that won't let you rest.

ABSOLEM - VITESSE Groovecast 006 (VIT-GC006)

DONK is a 25 year old dj and starting producer hailing Breda. As co-founder of RUIS.collective he cares a lot about connecting artists and organisations and building a community. 

For this set I wanted to take a deeper dive into authentic rhytms and atmospheric pressure. Using evolving sounds and textures combined with hypnotic and bleepy noises I wanted to play even more with tension and releases. To me this gives an interesting touch and keeping you hooked on what sonic experience comes next. 
You can find some inspirations from the Japanese techno scene, as well as deeper rhytms from ethnic backgrounds.
