As a musician, who plays in places where they ask for cover tunes, the John Mayer requests can get a little old.  It occurred to me though, that, given time, John Mayer himself will grow old.  So, when that time comes, this could be his song.

For A Prairie Home Companion - Duet Competition, 2012

  It's hard to find a song that's a real "duet" without having to dust off some showtunes.  So I wrote this one for this competition., ....and, oddly enough, the finished product sounds like a showtune.
