Another quick little demo using NanoStudio 2. As usual, all done with synthesis, no samples and only the effects which come with the app. 

Unusually, the hi-hat and snare track was made just using the LFOs of a single synth - hold one note down and off it goes! The track took me about an hour to make in total so it's a bit rough around the edges.  It uses 5 synth instances in total.  Enjoy!

These are the demo tunes which come with NanoStudio.  

NanoStudio is a virtual recording studio for iPhone/iPod Touch.  It has 4 virtual analogue synths, 16 sample trigger pads, a comprehensive sequencer, a sample editor, a mixer and 10 effects units all integrated into a single application.

This is the audio track from the 'NanoStudio with Line 6 Mobile Keys' demo video on YouTube (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1WsoNhiIq8).

Youtube's compression added some pretty nasty artefacts to the bass (particularly noticeable in the first 50 sec) and after a day of attempting to make it better I've had to admit defeat!

The SoundCloud version is better but still has the same issues (a kind of mid range pumping sound when the kick and the hi-hat coincide).  I've tried shelving everything off below 50Hz and above 16kHz which helped a bit, but it's still there.

NanoStudio + Line 6

These are mixdowns of the demo projects which come with NanoStudio 2.  

Aside from a couple of project-specific samples, they are all made using the factory samples and patches which come with the app.

No mastering or post processing has been performed on these demos - they're straight from the app.
