Cardiff's @Hawsmusic label take a step down under and further into late night dancefloors for their 13th release, a six-track from Perth's @GuyContact entitled 'Euphoria Simulator'.

ØEN Records is back with a special two track EP from up and coming Copenhagen based producer Fruit (@fruitdj). Originally from Iceland, but based in Denmark, Fruit has been making waves in the Copenhagen club scene with his eloquent DJ and live-sets. Following up his acclaimed 2019 Drømmeland EP he is finally back with two epic, fast-paced and euphoric tracks to light up the summer dance floors.

Drawing inspiration from myths and legends and particularly the Epic of Gilgamesh – a 4000 year old poem from ancient Mesopotamia – “Gilgamesh” is a hypnotic and trancey trip destined for the peak hours of the post-corona parties.

Created during the peak of the pandemic on an old half broken borrowed MacBook, the two distinct but kindred tracks are testament to Fruits unique production style, effortlessly navigating between euphoric fast-paced house, ambient soundscapes, hypnotic percussion and haunting atmospheres. Skillfully crafted and executed “Gilgamesh” is primed for both floor and mind.

The drive had been long and tiring. They'd travelled for miles across the beautiful countryside in search of a mythical road, the talk of numerous legends and stories told by wandering folk. Search for the scenic route is what he'd always been told by friends and people like him. However, never had he imagined that it might take him this far in his search or quest. 

The sun began to set in the distance and soon the cold chill of the outback would be all that was left to remind them that they were alive out here in the midst of the nothingness. Perhaps it was meant to be this way he wondered. Cold, aimless and in search of something not certain could be found. 

AK-ONE's 'Scenic Route' is transformed into an ethereal progressive journey by Bristol based producer Remotif following recent appearances on Coymix and Pleasant Life. This one touches upon elements of trance and Goa inspired influences - a big track for big lofty rooms.

There was something palpable in the air tonight. A feeling of excitement, euphoria and mystique. This event only rolled round once a year and many waited with baited breath for its arrival. Only those with open hearts and minds would fill the building. This was a space for freedom, to forget the rules and constraints of the outside world. Here you could be yourself. Nothing more, nothing less... 

Berlin-based party Radiant Love are keeping it in the family for their second release. Coming courtesy of close friends Vani-T (who makes up one half of femme party Climax) and Planet Euphorique's D.Tiffany (who provided the remix for their inaugural release from Fio Fa, the pair come together under the guise of Pillow Queen. The title of the EP and today's premiere, Byron's Theme, pays tribute to Radiant Love co-director and resident Byron Yeates, a throbbing trance cut that builds to a euphoric apex with its wavering synths, modulated pan-flute and pitch-shifted voice samples.
