Recorded in Naarm, ’Shell Of A City’ reframes the architecture an instrument, in a concrète procession.

Durational contact recordings of a highway’s substructure reveal an unearthly resonance.

The continuous physical phenomenon is gently processed to explore the fringes of electroacoustic practice with a contemplative urgency.

The 40 minute arrangement pairs two channels of site-based improvisation into a time-altering minimal structure.

Many people wrote to me to say ‘A Liquor Of Daisies’ tape was a tool they used for rest. How precious. ‘Shell Of A City’ follows in its path.

I carve out space for listening to the discrete and lesser noticed.

This month, Solifuj4 is welcoming singer songwriter Elisa Flores. 
Guitarist and vocalist of post-punk band eat-girls, she also has a solo project, opening for musicians like Bar Italia or Hilary Woods.
She’s also the programer at Sonic, a renowned underground venue in Lyon.
For RAINING ARROWS, she will take you on a journey threw alt pop, soft synth sounds, electronic droplets & downtempo trip hop.

Le personnage se dépouille de tout ce qui la rattache au monde réel et concret, pour pénétrer dans un univers confus, obscur et incertain. Une lente course poursuite vers la quête de soi, vers un hypothétique refuge. L’atmosphère de ce mix est légèrement troublante et vous invite à un voyage intérieur psychédélique. Il oscille entre expérimental et ambient électronique/symphonique, avec une révérence pour les BO de films expérimentaux. L’onirisme est très ancré dans l’imaginaire d’Emma B, planant dans des souvenirs profonds, elle se retrouve fréquemment attirée par un sentiment d’inquiétante étrangeté …
