With the abundance of free quality music readily available online it is becoming increasingly harder for independent artists to sell music. That is why Manchester-based grime-MC Blizzard deserves special recognition for reaching No 3 on iTunes with his EP Sooner Than Never. His Fire In The Booth session on Charlie Sloth's Radio 1 show and his somewhat controversial return to the infamous Don't Flop rap battle have his name circulating in all the right places, the two videos currently topping 200,000 YouTube views. A great effort from the still-teenage MC who is also a talented producer providing tracks for Wiley, RIO, Misha B as well as being a multi-instrumentalist.
