BLKMARKET MUSIC announces the 14th release on the label entitled ‘Mindframe.’  

Label boss Taimur & long time friend Artro hailing from Costa Rica come together to bring you the label’s latest release that was recorded at Trial Und Error Studio in San José, Costa Rica in 2023. The two forged a friendship back in 2012 when Taimur was invited to San José to play the legendary club Vertigo alongside Artro. On their recent meet up in summer of 2023, the two friends played together once again at Antik club in San José and went into the studio together for the first time. The result was Mindframe.

A1 - ‘Know Your Friends’ Vox version takes you on a sinister techno and bleep adventure reminding you of the friends you make. 

A2 - ‘Machina’ is an ode to UR. A techno track as if the world was to be taken over by robots and machines that destroyed humanity. 
That were built and placed by those that are evil. But in the end, the good humans win.

B1 - The sinister techno and bleep track ‘Know Your Friends’ gets a Voxless interpretation for those that just want the rhythm.

B2 - ‘Elements’ is a self check peak time bomb that reminds you what you can do and to not overthink what you do.

BLKMARKET MUSIC announces the 15th release. Philadelphia’s Sweater makes his first appearance on the label with ’Contact In the Zone.’

We met Sweater (Lucas) in Philadelphia during the summer of 2021 when Taimur was there for a weekend for a Blkmarket x Subsurface warehouse party. We exchanged contacts during the trip and he had mentioned he had a bunch of unreleased music to check out. 

His productions caught our ears immediately and are in a league of it’s own. 

We knew it right away it was fitting for our label. 

Lucas is also a wicked DJ, and a record clerk at Impressions Philly record shop.

We are excited to share this new release with the world.

During his many years in Brussels he has shown what he was made of during his sets played at Fuse, the cultural landmark of techno, as well as some of the country’s most respected festivals called Horst, while simultaneously playing as a resident in the overnight success club called C12.
Now starting a new chapter based in Ghent, he’s quickly become a regular at the local hotspots such as Funke and Chinastraat. Both locations have already given him the chance to curate different evenings too.
 
Started touring this year he went already accross multiple country and is not ready to stop !

Bloop is the short-lived techno project by Dirk Bittner and Dirk Jan Müller who are both part of the German psychedelic Krautrock band Electric Orange. Three decades later, Delirious Allusion sees the light of day on the new Brussels imprint Pinguin Society. The A-side features both the original and the mix ahead version of Delirious Allusion, which were released only as a testpress in 1997. The flip side offers ‘Robotic Operation’, a previously unreleased track by the duo from ‘98.

A seasoned veteran DJ for over 24 years, he's done it all. Taimur conceived the infamous Blk|Market Membership parties in NYC from 2006-2017 and was a resident. He was the head dance buyer and started the US distribution wing for many US labels at Halcyon Records shop from 2008 until mid-2014. Taimur’s work helped lead the resurgence of the local Brooklyn scene. With 17 + years of history and accolades for helping to revive one of the world’s most important dance music scenes, Taimur and Blk|Market Membership hold an esteemed position as architects of New York’s contemporary scene

On the strength of these accomplishments, Taimur has devoted himself full-time to his DJ & production career and currently resides in Miami. He launched his vinyl only record label Blkmarket Music in 2018 which features releases by Reade Truth, a 2 part Craig Richards's lost tracks with remixes by Rhadoo, Subb-an & Adam Shelton and more ; a collab between Taimur with Miami electro legend Gosub, two T.A.O (Taimur.Amo.Ostara) Ep's 'Enter your Mind' and 'Return to Life' EPs, Toronto's Hypnotic Mindscapes trio Payphone featuring Cosmic JD, an electro ep by JLM Werx and dancefloor jams by Thailand's DOTT. The most recent release out now is Reade's Truth's Sophomore 6 track mini-album release entitled 'The Beauty of the Dark.' 

He's just started his new sublabel Blkmarket Music Underground Party Edits that focuses on DJ club edits. First up on the sub label is DJ Spun's - Party Edits [BUMP-E000]

Between his label, DJing gigs, and events under his Blkmarket Music banner, Taimur has also opened up his new vinyl emporium with his wife Ostara in Miami. T Bag Records was born on April 10 2021 and is a vinyl shop that is dedicated to underground dance music of many genres.
