After a bit of a hiatus, BLKMARKET MUSIC is back in action for it's 13th release 'The Beauty Of The Dark' featuring the sophomore release on the label by New York legend Reade Truth.
 
We are thrilled to have the veteran DJ, producer and label boss of his imprint Path Records, back for his follow up release to Violent Rose that was released in 2019 on the label. 

This new 6 track EP, showcases the different realms of Reade's heavily influenced sci-fi productions, crossing Acid, House, Industrial and Techno territories.

A deep excavation from the archives of Italy’s electronic vanguard, Navigators finds Franco Falsini—founder of the seminal Interactive Test label—charting bold, genre-defying territory at the dawn of the internet era. Created in 1997 with an Amiga Tracker interfaced via MIDI to Roland samplers, the EP reflects a hands-on, forward-thinking production approach that sidestepped industry norms of the time.

Named after Netscape’s iconic browser, Navigators is imbued with the spirit of early digital exploration. Ethereal vocals from Ashram’s Bettina and Ilaria Ciampolini drift through intricate, off-grid arrangements, while contributions from Riccardo Falsini, Ubj, and Atma Lai add rich, unconventional textures. The result is a collection that resists simple classification, bridging ambient, trance, and proto-techno with a distinctly Italian sense of depth and atmosphere.

Tremendo Recordings proudly reintroduces this timeless work—unmistakably personal, quietly radical, and ahead of its time.

Emir is an Argentine DJ and producer based in Spain. Throughout his career, he has been part of key collectives such as Witches and KIDZ in Argentina, and Maquina Total in Barcelona, where he promoted events that connect music with community.

Currently living in Madrid, he runs Silencio Locx, a collective that organizes warehouse parties and has established itself as one of the most consistent proposals in the local scene. He is also the creator of La Movida Radioactiva, a party that explores new formats and ways of gathering around clubbing.

His sets cross genres like techno, acid, electro, trance, new beat, and bleep, with a focus that celebrates the roots of 90s electronic music and constantly keeps the dancefloor moving.

In his own words: “In this mix, I propose a sonic journey that reflects my way of understanding and inhabiting the dance floor. I’m interested in experimenting and breaking away from rigid structures, showing that all styles can coexist and enhance one another.

Throughout the session, sounds from different eras the 80s, 90s, and 00s are woven together, with genres like techno, ebm, electro, acid house, new beat, among others, creating a constant dialogue between past and present.

Each transition aims to create a situation and build a sonic narrative with its own identity”

The Middlecase Recs  announces the release of a special compilation of 10 tracks titled Rewind to Forever, created by friends and colleagues in memory of our dear friend, the talented musician and DJ Vyacheslav Gura, known as @Komponente. Komponente was a Ukrainian musician, vinyl collector, and founder of the Tvir label, whose career began in 2006 with his debut release on Deep-X Recordings. His deep and atmospheric music quickly won the hearts of listeners in Ukraine and beyond. He released tracks on labels such as Deeplimit, Aufseit, Fach, High-Jack, Blumenbeat, and Body Parts Records, and also founded his own digital label Blumenbeat in 2009 and vinyl label @Tvir in 2014. His tracks were played on dance floors worldwide, featured in heavy rotation on Deepmix radio, and released on vinyl compilations, including Biatch Corp Colombia, Minim, and Kanja Records. As a DJ and promoter, Komponente organized parties in Kharkiv, performed at festivals like Sensimo and Birds Meadow, played at iconic clubs such as Boom Boom Room and Mendeleev, and recorded podcasts for HDNSM, CrazyJack, and Sub.Spiele. His music, whether in a home setting or on the dance floor, always remained expressive and captivating. This compilation includes works by artists such as Komponente, @alianamarian , @romankhropko , @kurilogeny , @Koloniari, and @luschn1, serving as a tribute to Vyacheslav, his creativity, and his invaluable contribution to the music scene. A seasoned veteran DJ for over 25 years, he's done it all. Taimur conceived the infamous Blk|Market Membership parties in NYC from 2006-2017 and was a resident DJ. He was the head dance buyer and started the US distribution wing for many US labels at Halcyon Records shop from 2008 until 2016. Taimur’s work helped lead the resurgence of the local Brooklyn scene. With 18+ years of history and accolades for helping to revive one of the world’s most important dance music scenes, Taimur and Blk|Market Membership holds a highly esteemed position as architects of New York’s contemporary scene.

On the strength of these accomplishments, Taimur has devoted himself full-time to his DJ & production career and currently resides in Miami. He launched his vinyl only record label Blkmarket Music with wife Ostara in 2018 which features releases by Reade Truth, a 2 part Craig Richards's lost tracks with remixes by Rhadoo, Subb-an & Adam Shelton and more ; a collab between Taimur with Miami electro legend Gosub, two T.A.O (Taimur.Amo.Ostara) Ep's 'Enter your Mind' and 'Return to Life' EPs, Toronto's Hypnotic Mindscapes trio Payphone featuring Cosmic JD, an electro ep by JLM Werx, dancefloor jams by Thailand's DOTT, and Reade Truth’s sophomore 6 track mini album 'The Beauty of the Dark.' The latest release is his latest collaboration Taimur x Artro - Mindframe. 

He's also just started his new sub label Blkmarket Music Underground Party Edits with Ostara that focuses on DJ club edits. The first release was by DJ Spun's - Party Edits [BUMP-E000]

Forthcoming confirmed label(s) releases include T.A.O's 'Dreama' 2x12" Legends remix double pack, Buraye's 3 x 12" ‘Holographic Visitors’ Album, and EP by Taimur & Jean Pierre, Jay Tripwire, Facets, DJ Sweater, Francula, Oswaldo, Snuffo, Manuk, and Jovi & Alessandro just to name a few.

Between his record label(s), DJing gigs and producing, Taimur has also opened up a vinyl emporium with Ostara in Miami. T Bag Records Shop Miami was born on April 10 2021 and is a vinyl shop that is dedicated to strictly underground dance music of many genres both new, old and rare.
