For our latest slice of saucer-eyed Balearic perfection, Leng has looked to the North East of England for inspiration.

Lizards is a freshly minted project from Newcastle-based twosome Lee Forster – better known as one third of Balearic house combo Last Waltz, whose impressive releases have appeared on World Unknown, Futureboogie, Endless Flight and Is It Balearic? – and long-time friend James Hadfield of Nein Records’ Elizabeth Collective.

Despite writing music together on and off for the last 15 years, the duo only made their debut this month. As first 12” singles go, their Tanni EP on Not An Animal was something of a gem, and featured two winding, ear-pleasing chunks of dreamy, sun-kissed Balearic disco loveliness.

If anything, their Leng debut is even better. A-side “Frontier” sets the tone, layering bubbly, psychedelic electronics, vintage synthesizer arpeggio lines and strummed acoustic guitar riffs over a head nodding, 102 BPM drum machine groove. By the time the jammed-out, eyes-closed electric guitars and jaunty synthesizer melodies come in, you’ll be lost in the music.

Flipside “Coming In” stares at the sunset wistfully, effortlessly capturing the twilight humidity associated with lazy Croatian festivals and beautiful Bali beaches. Analogue synth lines flutter in the breeze, whilst picked guitar lines, spinetingling chords and a druggy bassline move the action forwards at a pleasingly loose and groovy pace. Go on, hug a stranger; after all, we’re all friends in Lizards’ baggy, melody-rich world.

K-Effect Is a society of two Djs and producers from Toledo in Spain, composed by David Martin and Diego Gómez with more than 25 years of experience in every major hall in the country. They have been also performing in foreign on several occasions. 
He is one of the few that has accomplished to have his own and particular sound, forged by hard work and a lot of effort at the studio, knowing what he wants and showing that at each one of his sessions and tracks. Full of charism, passion, and quality, he is able to surprise the most demanding ears of the actual musical scope.
If there are any pioneers in Toledo, K-Effect is, without any doubt, one of them. Working in looking for deeping, new wave and slow sounds with lot of energy , fresh and cool sounds. 
Genre: New Wave,Nudisco,Deep,trip,funk,techno & Psychedelic.
Kotemusick have already out few tracks in Labels like: La Cúpula Spain,Traxacid Records Italy,Evolution Senses Spain,Small Rec Norway,Logical Records Spain, Reward Records and Le Bien et Le Mal.
Currently, he is quite focused on underground sounds getting down between 100 and 115 BPM.

A fresh face in Brooklyn’s underground techno community, Xiorro burst onto the scene in early 2017 as co-founder of ALKHEMY, a Brooklyn-based techno collective whose primary mission is to highlight diversity in the techno scene by providing a platform for people of color and other marginalized groups. Over the course of a year, Xiorro has hosted over 25 parties, granting him the pleasure of working with over 70 DJs from across the globe. As resident DJ at The Black Hole, ALKHEMY’s monthly underground techno party, he introduced his taste for dark, fast, industrial techno. In the summer of 2017, Xiorro expanded his work outside of ALKHEMY as resident DJ and booking manager at The Gateway on Thursdays, with his techno party series: Dissolution. Intended as a limited-series party that featured locals only, Dissolution deliberately showcased women and people of color as headliners as the series developed, nodding to Xiorro’s ongoing activism work at the grass root level. To date, Xiorro has played in Boston, Pittsburgh and supported distinguished acts such as, Lenny Dee, Paul Birken, Plural, D.Carbone, Mørbeck, 138, Donor, Boris Brenecki, Ayarcana, UMFANG and more. A true proponent of preserving the original concept of the rave, Xiorro speaks to his crowd through rattling, progressive and high-hitting sonic dialogue.
