YG.K (Ben Ali Logan) the youngest of his four siblings was born in South West Philadelphia on September 14, 1986. At the age of 3 his father decide to relocate him and his family to a small town located in Southern Jersey known as Williamstown. While in Jersey YG.K attended Williamstown High School for 3 years. During his sophomore year at WHS, YG.K dropped out of school and was later incarcerated for a 3rd degree aggravated assault which took place in Franklin Township. During his 9 month prison sentence at Yardville Youth Correctional facility his wife (Jennette Mullins) had given birth to his first born child (Ace Ali Logan). 
 Shortly after his release YG attained his G.E.D while attending a community college located in Gloucester County (GCC). In 2010 YG.K had his second child (Zion James Logan). Later that year YG.K decided to relocate to Washington D.C. to work with his family's business (Ben's Chili Bowl). While in Washington YG.K worked with Uncle's to manage both restaurant for two years. YG.K commuted back and fourth from Jersey to DC twice a week to support his family in Jersey. While in D.C. his Uncle Kamal convinced him to enroll for some classes in a local community college. Soon after, YG enrolled himself into the University of the District of Columbia where he majored in Business Management. 
 In 2012 he decided to reunite with his family despite the decrease in his salary. While back in Jersey YG.K took on many different construction jobs to keep him and his family a float while staying with his father. YG's epiphany came to him while sitting at his computer desk one late evening. At that point in his life retrospectively speaking he had no other choice but to share his experiences through his music. From 2012 on, he transformed himself into his alter ego which we now know as YG! Since that day, every morning he wakes up with the drive of 100 men and doesn't let the sunset on his dreams. 
 Later that year YG and his family had became homeless due to the forecloser of his father's home in Williamstown. YG and his family were placed in the Mayflower Motel by Gloucester County Social Services. YG didn't let up, in fact his had begun to work harder by teaming up with his cousin's (Louis Gibson) 
label (GEF BOYZ Ent.). YG produced/edited and shot his very first own music video with the help from his wife (Jennette Mullins). Rags to Riches is this mans middle name. 
 Onward to know, YG has one of the most amazing families a man could ever want. He is now the proud father of 3 beautiful young men (Ace Ali Logan, Zion James Logan, & Julian King Logan) In 2014 LO and his wife (Jennette Mullins) moved into their first home in Blackwood New Jersey. YG, having some carpentry experience constructed a his own 10x8 recording booth where he now spends most of his time recording vocals. YG is not just any artist he's a musician, he's a songwriter, he's a graphic designer, he's his own manager, he's his own publicist, he's a carpenter, he's a father, and he's a husband. His grind is truly unmatched by any other artist in his genre. If good things come to those who wait, I can tell you personally, "HIS TIME IS COMING SOON"!!!!
