Regal drops the first remix package from his debut album featuring Slam, PTU and Boston 168. Involve Records boss Regal presents “RWYS Remixes Pt.01” - the first installment of three immense remix
packages from the Spanish techno giant’s debut album, “Remember Why You Started”. Recruiting international powerhouse duo’s Slam, PTU & Boston 168 to rework the earth-shattering originals.
Scotland’s luminary duo Slam kicks off with their edit of “She Dances Alone”. The pair’s distinctive tweak is the alchemization of the kick drum, pivoting into a thunderous force. The kick is paired with claps that ricochet above a determined synth line, while the low-slung baseline mists under twinkling keys andsprinklings of hoover noise, giving the rework an old school feel. Uplifting major notes inject brightness & contrast to the track, with the cunning acid line lingering ‘til close. Next, enigmatic Russian twosome PTU transform “Dealing With My Pain”, a once low tempo mid-point track, into a primary dancefloor weapon. This heavily industrialised rendition utilises an incessantly deep bass drum while maintaining the commanding male vocal sample. Blistering hi-hats, and a wildly distorted synth breakdown build a brash and dubious mood. The thumping kick drum drives the track forward, looping electrical elements that ring out from ear to ear, surrounding you with wild noise and energy. Italy’s acid techno aficionado’s Boston 168 step up to close with their interpretation of “Fearful Nights”. In
true style, the duo mould the very start of the track to blend with their signature sound. A bumping kick drum and quintessential 303 manipulate the melody, resulting in a far more venomous composition than the original. Sinister synth stabs slice through the chaos with a hi-hat and snare drum combination for extra effect.

Mexico’s Lokier gears up for her first release with Lenske, “Back To Life EP”.

Based in Berlin by way of her hometown Mexico, Lokier has firmly cemented her spot within the European underground scene with appearances at Berghain and Tresor, as well as renowned international venues and festivals Reaktor, Contact, Dimensions, CTM, Nuits Sonores & more. “Back To Life EP” marks Lokier’s debut on Lenske, showcasing her ability to fuse the worlds of industrial, rave, techno and trance with an electrifying 3 tracker. 

On the EP, “Dimension” is a raucous cut that bridges the gap between techno and electro, with acid dripped notes and keys that twinkle and echo menacingly. A heaving kick drum and baseline are determined to bring an ominous energy to the forefront while maintaining the fierceness of the initial elements. Without any respite, the track determinedly drives on and commands you to move right up until the final kick.

Sarkha is a producer, DJ & visual artist from Valencia (ES), based in Berlin with a soft spot for disturbing sounds, bleak atmospheres, and ominous narratives. In the previous years to step into the electronic music scene, she approached audio creation in the media post-production industry. A precedent that leaves dramaturgy stains on her productions and sets.

She has made a little impression by delivering dancefloor-oriented music, yet she also stepped into the world of experimental music with an unwavering keenness for sonic exploration. Her soundtrack “Last Days of Gaia”, was released on Pollen. Sounds unlocked a divergent path.

2019 saw her emergence with one-off appearances so far at Berlin clubs like Suicide Club, Mensch Meier, Birgit&Bier, Burg Schnabel, and several events organized by the international network Female: pressure. She completed a brief tour in Japan in 2023, marking her first intercontinental debut. As a producer, she released on labels such as Blockchain Records, Not Dolls, The Techno’s Children, and Pollen. Sounds. Last but not least, she joined Dixrupt Agency & collective as a resident.

It is our duty, especially being artists, to raise consciousness and awareness, challenge norms and narratives.

We cannot allow ourselves to overlook the ongoing crisis in Palestine. This is not merely a matter of political stance; it's a test of our humanity. If we fail to speak out against the slaughter of innocent people and the genocide unfolding in Palestine, we fail on fundamental levels of compassion and justice.

It's not about political affiliations; it's about standing on the righteous side and feeling the pulse of what's truly just.

With the power of technology, we are constantly connected to the realities of conflict, yet to stay silence in the face of such atrocities is deadly.

For that reason we brought 61 artists together to break this silence and stand in solidarity with Palestine, especially the innocent children.

In the haunting echoes of silence, where cries for help are drowned by the thunder of war, our music becomes a beacon of hope, piercing through the darkness to remind the world of its humanity.

Each beat, each note is a testament to resilience, a defiance against the oppressors, a symphony of solidarity resonating across borders.

In the tapestry of chaos, our voices rise like a crescendo, demanding justice, demanding freedom and peace, demanding that the world listen and act.

Techno, Noise, EBM, punk, and experimental music—genres rooted in the ethos of creating alternate societies and challenging terrestrial limitations—have always championed freedom of expression. Yet, the contemporary landscape feels tainted by commodification, censorship, and the silencing of marginalized voices. This betrayal of the essence cannot be tolerated.

Our music is a rebellion, a revolution of sound, breaking chains of apathy and indifference, igniting flames of empathy and action.We are not just musicians; we are storytellers of the silenced, architects of dreams, weaving melodies of resistance and resilience.

Solidarity must be a foundational principle within our (sub-)culture. True freedom can only be achieved when all are liberated. Music, as a universal language, transcends boundaries and reminds us that every life is sacred.

The king of deep returns with his first original work in five years, joining the Red Section label and bringing his legendary Detroit-inspired techno sound to the imprint's impressive roster of artists. With a career spanning over two decades, Lars Sandberg has earned a reputation as a revered producer and a true DJs DJ. Classics such as the anthemic 'Diabla, 'Emotional Content' and 'Jack Me Off' have earned him legendary status in dance music history, while he is ever in demand as a remixer, having reworked iconic artists such as Underworld and New Order. From his base in Barcelona, he has maintained a long-running residency at the highly regarded Macarena club and is currently preparing for a tour of Asia. Red Section is now proud to unveil his new solo release 'Phoenix' an aptly titled trip into robust deep techno territory that propels itself on an insistent one-note bassline and shimmering Maurizio-esque stabs. Pared back in production, it is a perpetually evolving heads-down groove guaranteed to move even the most reluctant ravers. Remixes come from an array of highly regarded producers combining to create a package that will work across a range of dancefloors. First up is BB Deng who concocts a stomping stab-laden workout followed by Millhouse, who delivers a turbo-charged techno interpretation. Berlin's Professor Dictabeat comes next twisting the original into vocoded angular electro shapes. Sarkha tunes into the darkness and turns up the BPMs, while Thian delves into the deep on his atmospheric percussive workout. Mechanic Slave delivers a relentless slice of industrial techno before Der Køch turns in a hypnotic modern techno throbber. Finally, comes Johannes Volk, the highly regarded German producer who creates a superb groove punctuated by Detroit synth tones and underpinned by a jacking Chicago percussive backbone. The 'Phoenix' rises from the void, delivering a stunning original and set of remixes destined to cause damage on dancefloors across the Globe. Sarkha is a versatile DJ, producer, and visual artist who originally hails from Valencia (ES) but is now based in Berlin.
