Hymir's Kettle, an amazing source of Medieval music and artistry on Soundcloud laid the original tracks of this tune. In the spirit of banditry, I stole upon the original and added a bit of Celtic drumming from the bodhran.

This was the first recording I have done in 4 years. The tracks were a recorded in a 1990 Bluebird schoolbus home conversion, on the final days of September, amidst a heavy Pacific Northwest rainfall. The air is cold around us, and the smell of rot from dying leaves dances nicely with the fruit of ripened cannabis all around the valley. The drum mallet bounced nicely off of the air moistened skin, the leather of the mallet soft on the supple hide of the hand-stretched drum. 
Each track was an exploration and gentle conversation on this, the beginning days of Fall.

Breathe is the second recording of today, and was laid down as a reminder that, before and after all else, breath is spirit. Breathe deeper and longer, sustaining a steady ebb and flow, rise and fall. Listen deeper behind the sounds, and hear them calling. Your blood is singing.

Blödwyn is a project of prayer and solitude. A voice in the greater discussions held in the quiet spaces of the mountains and rivers of the Illinois Valley of Southern Oregon. Wylden took the name from his great matrilineal grandmother of Ebbw Vale, South Wales. Exploration of ancestral lineage through trance and meditation, going, instead of by external technologies, into his own blood for the stories held and withheld. The secret gestures of a pace seldom seen.
