Sabo’s record label Sol Selectas drops an enchanting Afro house EP by ARKADYAN, which also features remixes by Safar (FR) and Manoo.

ARKADYAN are a talented trio who have previously featured their tribal rhythms and ancestral instruments on other imprints ranging from Cosmic Awakenings to Madorasindahouse Records, and their music has been popular with DJs such as Black Coffee, Bedouin, Satori, Blond:ish and many others of equal note.

Safar (FR) is a French artist who recently debuted on Sol Selectas with a track on the label’s Summer Sol VII compilation with a scorching hot vibe, and this remix once again shows off his talents.

Manoo is from the city of Lyon in France and he is well-known for his productions on Innervisions, Compost and Classic Music Company. His style is a jazzy blend with deep atmosphere and groovy basslines.

“Tulila” is the solo original on the release and it features the vocals of Moroccan artist Radouan Naim who also played the guembri instrument that’s used in the track. The lyrics are sung in the Berber language and are accompanied by tense pads, vibrant percussion and dramatic chords.

Safar (FR) provides a refined remix that’s true to the original with its chopped-up vocals and flowing tribal rhythms that are both crisp and hypnotic.

Closing out the release is the remix by Manoo that adds a new bassline with extra energy while also drawing attention to the percussion to focus on the tribal rhythms of the congas and other percussion.

The artwork by Helia Jamali depicts the golden spiral of life & the harmonic dance of the universe.

The Dutch duo have caused a stir with their passionate blend of house music for quite some time now, and thriving with the well-deserved international attention. But now, the boys have each taken their own path, and taken on their own sounds. But let us, for a moment, remember what was. Originally released on Bla Bla back in 2010, ‘Secret Places’ now makes a comeback via Get Physical. The Original plays alongside a hot remix from Italy’s Ambassadors of House, System Of Survival, A remix from Daniel Sanchez and Satori’s own fresh reinterpretation. The original brings your hips to a swing with a satisfyingly tactile horn sway laying down an unmistakable groove. Using this as the corner stone the boys take us away with a brilliant after-hour burner. System of Survival take things in a totally new direction, creating an elegantly crafted piece of house music, rich in synth and groove, they prove themselves once again. Daniel Sanchez takes it back into tech-house airspace. Letting the rhythm and the bass do the talking as he teases those catchy horns. Satori’s 2016 Reinterpretation adds a pinch of grit, underlining the track once again with a new feel.

The summer season kicks off an exciting collection of releases from the 'Nie Wieder Schlafen' family. The perfect start to the hottest time of the year is delivered by a great friend and talented artist, Daniël Van Der Zwaag.

With a different and unique perspective of atmospheric driven productions, Daniel is able to create two blissful tracks, which enter a smooth and dreamy state of tension. 

Main title track "Reïncar" opens up gently with a full range of atmospherics and slowly introduces a very nice set of percussions, that help thrive the endless spaces of this wide and open story.

Remixes by Bengal and Nagelbrett, cover-art designed by Giulia Gallizzi and mastered by Robert Trifunović.
