Episode 33 - The Iron Giant

The Bloobcast return to Raccoon City for this year's Blooboween episode to take a look at the third game (and Euan's favourite) in the Resident Evil series - Resident Evil 3.

They discuss how the game began life as an unnumbered spin off, the titular antagonist Nemesis, what the game added to the Resident Evil formula, the 2020 remake, and touch upon one of the dumbest movies ever made.

Episode 34 - Resident Evil 3

After four years of Bloobing, the Bloobcast finally cover a movie that's been in their crosshairs since starting the show - Joe Dante's 1998 movie Small Soldiers.

They discuss the movie's strong satirical edge, how cool the Gorgonites look, the amazing Stan Winston special effects, Kirsten Dunst being a feminist icon, the main character being a bit of a wet blanket, Phil Hartman being Phil Hartman, and the absurdity of 90's teenagers being obsessed with Led Zepplin.
