Moku EXE originating from the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York, Moku's journey in music burgeoned after relocating to New Jersey at the age of six. Initially harboring a passion for music, it wasn't until the influential guidance of his sister, Dana Lu, a prominent figure in the music industry as a DJ, that Moku delved deeper into his musical aspirations. Venturing into rap at the age of 15, he initially surfaced on SoundCloud, carving a niche with his distinctive fusion of edgy rap compositions paired with captivating anime visualizers, earning him widespread recognition. However, as he reached the age of 20, Moku made a conscious shift from his initial edgy rap style to embrace Jersey Drill, a move reflecting his commitment to elevating the representation of Jersey in the music scene. Driven by a desire to amplify his home state's recognition and aspiring to become its emblematic figure, Moku EXE channels his artistry to carve a distinct path in the realm of Drill music, positioning himself as a potential torchbearer for Jersey's musical identity.
